The sun was shining so we made the most of it.
Some children from Year 1 and 2 helped to plant our willow screening and started a willow tunnel too as an entrance to our Forest school space.

As part of our drive to celebrate reading as part of 'The National Year of Reading' we shared the book 'Only One You ' by Linda Kranz during Neurodiversity Celebration week last month.
We all designed our own truly unique character just like Adri in the book and thought about how we all can make the world a better place by playing our part.

A lovely day yesterday learning more about how our families celebrate Eid. Thank you to our superstar parents and children who presented to us in our assembly. We had a communal picnic despite the cold weather, and shared some food with our families after school.

We’re excited to launch our brand‑new Playshed at lunchtimes — a shed bursting with fun, creativity, and collaboration, and other people's scrap!

Using reused and recycled materials, children can build, imagine, design and play together in endless ways. It’s all about teamwork, problem‑solving and giving everyday objects a brand‑new life.

Just look at what we have enjoyed already this week in the sunshine !!

Our fabulous team have cleared our site. ✅ Phase one complete

We have drawn up plans for our next phase and are very excited to see how our site develops over the next few weeks.

WORLD BOOK DAY 2026 @ St Andrew's CE has come to an end...it was a whirlwind of joy, stories and celebration!

Hagrid finally found Wally, our Year 5 pupils shared their favourite books with such enthusiasm, and Miss Dolphin led a brilliant assembly followed by a fantastic character parade. Mrs Large even read one of her favourite story in her pyjamas.

Across school, everyone decorated plates and transformed them into wonderful book characters. We also launched our exciting book raffle, with signed books up for grabs, and the PTA treated us all to a delicious cake sale.

To top it all off, we had a sneaky peek at the brand‑new books ready for the grand opening of our library later this year.

All in all, a very busy and very magical day celebrating the joy of reading! @
