🏐 Netball 🏐
This was SO MUCH FUN! I haven't played netball since my injury when playing for Loughborough AU and it felt so good to be back 🙌 Not the best recovery for my knee injury but as it was a beginner/ back-to-netball vibe I though it would be okay 😇
Can't wait for another session on Monday! Netball Newbies

Stay tuned for the content I recorded during this Nov’21 - Jan’22 rollercoaster

💪 Whey Too Much To Carry 💪
Overwhelmed at how generous this prize was during the PT Induction Course for !
I had such a great 2 days meeting other PTs from around the UK and learning so much that can be applied to helping our clients succeed 🤩 …Plus I was fortunate enough to win the title of “Most Supportive Learner” from the other members in the group which was a Brucie bonus 🤯

🧆 Food Glorious Food 🧆
Turkey breast is a great source of animal-based protein and pretty low in calories. A serving of homemade turkey meatballs (4 x 40g) alone came to 51g of protein & just 230 calories.
Combine the mince with lots of pepper, salt and souvlaki seasoning (oregano, paprika, thyme, ground cumin & garlic powder). Split the mix into your desired number of meatballs and fry on a medium-high heat in low cal oil spray (I used garlic ) until cooked all the way through (approx 15 mins).
I added this to a bowl of lettuce, red onions, tomatoes, black olives, basil, halloumi and Tzatziki 🥗 Delicious and came to less than 500 cals!
You could also serve these meatballs with flatbread to make gyros 🌯

📢 5km Run 📢
So happy with today’s distance - I could have easily had a short break 3km into it after a steep incline, but I pushed on and continued to run! Really proud 🙌🏼
I was given a little extra time in the diary today so took full advantage of it to run further and really push myself...5km!
Day 3 and I’ve ran a total of 7.5km, 28 days and 82.5km to go 🏃🏼♀️ LET’S DO THIS!

🫐 Blueberry Cheesecake 🫐
I came across this recipe on the Diabetes UK website and it was so delicious! 😍 Initially I was making it for my grandparents but only gave them half in the end 😂😂😂
Such a great and healthy alternative, plus low in carbs/sugar and high in protein!
