This week, the toddlers had a wonderful trip to our local park for some fresh air. They thoroughly enjoyed helping each other and practising their turn-taking skills. This outing provided a valuable learning experience and also supported their personal, social, and emotional development by allowing them to meet other children at the park and play in a different environment🌳😀

This week, the babies enjoyed a fun-filled mix of outdoor and indoor play, spending time in the garden with exciting water activities and slides, while also exploring their creativity by building and stacking blocks. It was a week full of discovery, movement, and happy moments.

Celebrating st George's day 🔴🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Today, we are thrilled to celebrate St George's Day! We began our enjoyable morning with themed playdough, crafting prints of dragons and dinosaurs. Following that, the children delighted in an England flag sensory tuff tray, providing them with an excellent multisensory experience to explore and create. Afterwards, they set free their creativity by constructing their own dragons using a range of materials. It has been a delightful celebration of imagination and learning!

🌱🌎Celebrating Earth Day 🌍🌱

Today, in the toddler room, we celebrated Earth Day. We began our morning by creating and decorating our own representations of the Earth. As we engaged in this activity, the children explored the significance of blue, which represents our oceans, and green, symbolising our land and various countries.

Next, we moved on to moulding and building our Earth models using Playdough. The children truly enjoyed this hands-on experience, employing their fine motor skills to carefully choose their blue and green materials to create their unique Earths. Well done, toddlers! 🌎💙💚

We are so happy to welcome all our staff and children back after the term break 💛

At our nursery, staff wellbeing is very important to us. That’s why we have created small wellbeing boxes filled with items to help staff relax, feel supported, and get a little boost during busy days.

We appreciate all the hard work our staff do every day. A happy and supported team helps create the best environment for our children to grow and thrive 🌿

Easter fun 🥚🐰

The toddlers had lots of fun with our Easter activities over the past week. We made some lovely little chicks without handprints aswell as some beautiful Esther eggs. We took part in our very own little angels Easter egg hunt where the children used their fine motor skills to retrieve the eggs. Well done toddlers, We hope everyone had a lovely Easter weekend 🙂

We’ve had a joyful week at nursery, with the children embracing Easter through a range of fun and creative activities. From exciting egg hunts and decorating their own baskets to painting colourful Easter-themed artwork, the babies explored their creativity while developing fine motor and sensory skills. Outdoor play provided plenty of opportunities to build coordination and enjoy imaginative play together. It’s been a wonderful week of learning, exploration, and happiness all around.

This week, the babies had a joyful and engaging time exploring Easter-themed activities. They loved Easter egg hunts, both in sand and around the room, which encouraged curiosity, problem-solving, and early counting skills. Creative fun included painting eggs, making chick handprints, and bunny-themed artwork, helping develop fine motor skills and self-expression.
