STRESS is said to be a characteristic of life on Earth and a great percentage of ailments stem from stressful situations which impact on us psychosomatically and affect the synthesis and alignments of the subtle sheaths of the emotions and the mentality.

Dr Edward Bach always intuitively knew that MIND OVER MATTER was the over-arching tool or instrument we needed in facing up to the friction in our lives and he eventually materialised a formula for assisting the subtle bodies in their re-alignments with the body and soul, he devised the flower remedies which act at the causal level in bringing this synthesis about.

This is what is meant by Esoteric Healing.

The Calendar Months

The current calendar we use is the Gregorian calendar which was preceded by the Julian calendar of ancient Rome.

The months of the year have been named as described below.

The changeover from Julian to Gregorian came in October 1582 by edict from Pope Gregory XIII, but this was not adopted by Britain and her colonies until September 1752 whereby eleven days were lost in the changeover.

Affirmations are powerful and the more they are repeated, the more fortified their energy and message.

Active intelligence is the essence of ray three and expresses itself through mass production of following same templates and patterns as to keep the wheels rolling and industry ticking along.

Industrialist Henry Ford is a good example of mass producer of motor vehicles and the phonograph companies producing vinyl records to supply the demand from the masses, every disc looking like the other, and you can apply this to general supply & stock.

We see this with the prolific output of the leaves on the tree in order to catch the sunlight, all wrapped up the same, and these templates and patterns can be seen in the repeated shapes and metrics in Mandelbrot's fractal images.

What kind of pattern or design are we weaving into our tapestry ?

Our own lives take on a repeated pattern of rising and setting each day in the diurnal and nocturnal routines of waking and sleeping.

Setting the right patterns and habits of living is important in ramping up to a different frequency and consciousness.
All the kingdoms of nature seem to imitate the one immediately infusing it, like the volition of water will imitate the volition of the plant or tree in forking and branching out, dendritic like.

In the pop industry of the 1970's, it was said that to become a star, you had to look like a star, behave like a star and pretend that you were a star before you actually took on the mantle of being one, and this involves taking example from those stars who had already made the grade and earned the badge of legend and had a catalogue of hits and awards.

So if there was an angelic or elemental kingdom above the human kingdom, what would be required of us to upgrade our status or being? in a similar fashion to how an ape would copy us?

Shutting down the senses would be one of them, only temporarily, for we have to detach from our senses and pretend we don't have any, because we are shifting into a non physical dimension when we practice meditation, and when we take control of our senses instead of them controlling us, then we are becoming 'gods in the making' and adding to humanity taking a different pattern.

Esoteric Astrology ~ Upholding your Principles, Values and Standards

The Resistance to Opposition.
The struggle and the fight fall at the door of Mars and Scorpio and on the path of spiritual unfoldment we are constantly embattled both outwardly and inwardly, it is part of the evolution of our race and is the conflicting aspect of the fourth ray.

We are living in a time, an arc of decline and a cadence seemingly away from the standards we have been used to or were to taught to aspire to, and we are always seemingly defending and trying to protect the values which make up our spiritual fabric, our moral fibre.
It is important to upkeep the resistance against the decay, the corruption and lies, even when it creates discomfort and strife, the more who do this are fortifying the energies which are nutritious and vital in the fight against the infidel, the darkness.

Below are four short stanzas which reflect our thoughts on struggle and the signs that perseverance pays, we should all be torchbearers for truth and freedom.

Ayurveda is the ancient Hindu science of health as taught in the holy Vedic scriptures of India - The Vedas.
It was revived or popularised in recent times by the yogi Maharishi Mahesh, who introduced the 'Beatles' pop group to these studies in the 1960's as part of his mysticism and eastern philosophy.

Ayurveda is based on three fundamental principles of natural affinity referred to as 'Doshas' meaning elements of stimuli known as Vata, Pitta and Kapha and also three Gunas (affinities) referred to as Sattvas, Rajas and Tamas.

These three Doshas are represented by three typical body types which we can apply to the rays and their physical attributes of Ectomorph, Endomorph and Meso-ectomorph.

Vata is related to Sattvas - Thin, Sleek body, hard to gain weight
Pitta is related to Rajas - Slight weight gain and loss, athletic
Kapha is related to Tamas - Heavy set body, gains weight easily.

We can use these simple details to help us understand physical attributes, how the physique looks and apply them to a consultation.

Moon Reflections ~ Signifying Reflections Within.

The Moon's course through the Zodiac & It's Infusions.

The Moon takes 28 days to travel through the complete circle of the twelve zodiac signs in it's orbit around the Earth, appearing to stay in each sign for two and a half days.

The Moon's Phases.

There are four main phases of the Moon, the first of which is referred to as the 'New' Moon, once referred to as the 'Dark' Moon because it appeared to disappear from vision and de-manifest, and whose symbol is a black or dark circle.
This phase is when the Moon becomes conjunct with the Sun and signifies a 'new' beginning or cycle around the zodiac once more.
The time to plant and sow the seed of intention.

The second Moon's phase is known as the Waxing Gibbous Moon, when it is at a 45' degree angle to the Sun and appears to be a half-Moon, transiting from a waxing crescent Moon.
This period is a phase of gathering intention and intensity.

The third phase of the Moon is known as the full Moon when the full face of the Moon can be seen and is at an 90' degree angle to the Sun, which is an angle of opposition and signifies a full reflection of the Sun's light and energy and is a moment of Culmination and maximisation when the Moon fulfills a climax of destiny in her travel around the Earth, like a flower in full bloom reflects a climax of expression.

The fourth and final phase of the Moon is known as the Waning Gibbous Moon, where once more the Moon is at a 45' degree angle to the Sun, appears like a half Moon once more and signifies a decline and dissipation of purpose as the blossom fades and dies away so does the Moon lose her potency of reflection and transits into a waning crescent and eventually vanishing into the Sun.

In my own estimation the whole story and journey of the phases of the Moon, is there to show us quite simply the stages of growth, culmination and decline in the life of organic things including the human being.
1. Newly-born 2. Youth 3. Maturity 4. Fruition of Expression
carried through to the next cycle again with the wisdom gained through experience.

It is the example of Reincarnation and life being cyclic and re-cycled.

The Void of Course Moon.

The Void of Course Moon refers to the period when the Moon transitions from its current zodiac sign to the next one, without forming any major aspects with other planets.
During this phase, the Moon is considered to be in a temporary energetic void, often seen as a time for rest and reflection before initiating new endeavors.
The duration of this period can vary from a couple of minutes, to a couple of hours or occasionally can last for a couple of days.

The Streaming of the Creative Process

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a child prodigy, at the age of five he was already competent on the violin and piano and had begun to compose and perform before nobility and royalty.

He was born on January 27th 1756 in Salzburg, Austria, and died aged just 35 after producing more than 800 works in his short lifetime.

He was quoted as saying "The music is not in the notes, but in the silence between." meaning that his creative process was contemplative and he needed to tune-in to a theta rhythm in order to stream the flow of notes or music and again this is reflected in his quote in the visual where he says " The process of making music is like a vivid dream", so this state of mind was meditative, similar to a light dream streaming into consciousness and manifesting filaments from higher manas or abstract mind.

Another gifted creative musician, Ludwig van Beethoven also described this state of creativity when he said "All I have to do is write it down", so this creative process of the artist, poet, or musician involves the right sided hemisphere of the brain whose activity is a gateway to higher manas and gives rise to conscious mediumship where we gain access to the influences of higher consciousness and beings such as nirmanakayas who assist in the process of evolution of truth, beauty and goodness as a quality expressed by awakened humanity.

It is interesting to note that Mozart expressed and proliferated his music before the age of thirty five when most men and women had consolidated a bias of reasoning and logic which often results in the right sided brain being out-weighed and fixated by the left side.

The Potency of the Old Souls ~ Creativity of Spirituality

The Philosophers have shaped the world, the ancient Greeks gave birth to the civilised world and democracy, the Romans built the roads and spread their empire, the Egyptians somehow with extra-terrestrial assistance maybe, manifested the pyramids and all these things were spawned with the dreamer's ideas, with the poet's projections and the romantic's swooning.

There is a fluency to the stream of evolution on this planet and the old soul spearheads that continuum through divine inspiration and they can be found in the ranks of the poets, the musicians, the writers and any field of the arts where innovation and inspiration is evident in their thinking and movement.

Below can be found a lovely poem, by Arthur O'Shaughnessy where he describes 'the movers and shakers' among the esoteric community and beyond and this continuum of creativity which is at the heart of humanity, and in astrological terms he refers to "each age is a dream that is dying, or one that is coming to birth".

The Psychology of the Seven Rays

Their Importance, Function and Purpose

We are told by theosophical teachings that spirit cannot descend any further than higher manas or mind as the dense, gross material world including our physical body is too engrossing and the personality is usually too involved with the bias of rational and objective living.

An ability to detach from this bias of occidental life in acts of meditation and reflection, balances the cerebral hemispheres and brings the caduceus into alignment which means that art and creativity (ray four) is a counterpoint to science and analysis (ray five), so here is an example of the rays being an important medium in restoring balance and preventing a heavy bias which affects mental and physical health.

In a similar way the power aspect of ray one is countered with the more alleviating ray two which is loving and wise bringing a balance between the two, and this is reflected in the stereotypical masculine and feminine archetypes which come together in the coupling of men and women - the Venus and Mars.

The seven rays facilitate the spiritualising of form and enable the human being to alchemise and transform through the decent of spirit replacing parts and burning the dross and corruptible into the shining and incorruptible elements of divinity.

The seven rays also enable humanity to act as a bridge between the celestial and the terrestrial planes of expression through the third ray (Active Intelligence) influencing and interacting with all kingdoms or realms of nature.

Knowledge of the seven rays psychology gives a wider and more comprehensive understanding of the psychic, phenomenal and spiritual aspect of Mankind's struggles and the spiritual unfoldment of humanity as a whole and how certain nations and continents have a pivotal role to play in the destiny of the civilisation.

In the discipline of Esoteric Astrology we use the Placidus house system which accommodates the real possibility of zodiac signs not being proportionately equal in how they occupy a house, in effect being visually squashed between two different signs occupying the proximal and distal cusps of a house.

This is due to the angle of the ecliptic appearing to constrict the equal proportion of the signs in relation to the curvature of the Earth.

Intercepted planets and signs can highlight both positive and negative aspects but more particularly in the charts of spiritually oriented people can indicate spiritual or esoteric gifts and expressions.

Eg, Cancer intercepted ^ positively could be highly sensitive
Cancer intercepted ^ negatively could be depressing

Visually in a dream an interception may be represented by a road narrowing into the distance^ or a wizard's hat ^, you may be surprised what the inner self responds to your questioning in your dream diary.
