An incredible event yesterday to celebrate Eid Mubarak, it was lovely to see such an amazing attendance and so many happy smiling families. Huge shout out to all those parents who prepared food for the event, also big mention to Priya for her amazing badge making skills! Thank you to everybody who came to support our Eid Picnic 👍🏼

It’s that time again... Our magic breakfast delivery has arrived and we have bagels and cereal for all the children. All parents are welcome to come and take a bag of bagels, a bag of fresh fruit and a box of cereal home. Please come to the school office where they are ready to collect.

Hello everyone and welcome to our new page ready for our new school building to open in September 2020. From now on we will be using this page to post information and photos.
We are really excited to be opening our brand new building for the children in September 2020 please have a look at the photos of our classroom as we are getting them ready!
Gorton Primary School is a brand new school for the community of Gorton. We opened our Nursery and Reception classes in September 2018. In January 2020 we now have Nursery, Reception and Year One classes. The newest member of the Vantage Academy Trust family brings the experience and ethos of our schools in Bolton, Salford and Manchester to create a friendly, caring school focused on giving the very best start in life to local children.
Gorton Primary School will be in great company, with sister school St James CE Primary close by on Stelling Street.
Simon Bramwell, CEO of Vantage Academy Trust, shares his thoughts on the new school. “We are delighted that the great work and improvements already achieved at St James have been recognised and that we have been entrusted to work with the local community to develop a new school for Gorton. This new school will be at the heart of the community, and will benefit from strong partnerships with both St James and with the exceptional teachers and other staff working across the wider Vantage Trust. We are determined to give children in Gorton the very best start in life and I am looking forward to working with parents, staff, children and the community to make that a reality in the years to come.”
