Year 5 really enjoyed performing for KS2 and parents this morning. 5H played 'Samba' and 'Chester Zoo' and then 5T played 'Samba Reggae' and a six-eight samba (which was making its Holy Trinity debut! We have also said a very fond farewell to the wonderful Miss Wren today who has inspired some extremely talented samba players over her many years working with Holy Trinity

Thank you Miss Wren. We say goodbye to our Samba music teacher today who has worked at Holy Trinity since 2001! You have nurtured many musical talents over the years and the children have loved your teaching of Samba which was evident in the assembly this morning.

Year 5 have taken part in the Inheritance project when they were in Year 4 and then moving into Year 5. Two pupils from Year 5 have then worked with a range of artists and other schools across Greater Manchester at Aviva Studios creating a piece of work for the Manchester International Festival. The Inheritance project is being held at Manchester Art Gallery this summer.

Manchester Youth Zone

I wanted to reach out to you all as our sessions for young people with additional needs is changing from the 27th July.

Our inclusion sessions on a Sunday will be split into two age groups, 8-14 and 15-25. The first session, for those aged 8-14, will be 10:30 am - 1:00 pm.

We offer a range of activities, such as arts and crafts, multisports, football, baking, sensory play and music.

A diagnosis or EHCP is not required to attend our inclusion sessions as we hope to make it as accessible for as many young people as possible.
