These trees are growing for future generations, including the children at Diddydots who will hopefully enjoy their shade one day. If anyone seems interested, we’d love to welcome more hands to help with the watering (mindful of the hosepipe ban) and general tree care! 🌍🌳💦 x Please share to anyone you feel may be able to help too.

😢Saying goodbye to our Diddydots who are going off to school never gets any easier. This year we saw the first of our little ones who were our original babies leave and they have been with us a long time.
We wish them all the very best for their next chapter and can’t wait to hear how it is all going.
‘Keep being curious little ones but most of all, keep being you!!’

There is a “Big Butterfly Count” - a nationwide U.K. project - from 17 July - 9 August. 🦋🦋🦋🦋 This data will help scientists track environmental and changing population trends. Diddydots Summer Watch - July 2026. To all the Diddydots children - past and present - welcome to the Diddydots Summer Watch! 😊 This month is all about our five senses - seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting and touching. 😊 If you would like a nature task to link-in with our senses you could:: 1. Look closely around you at all the various shapes and colours. 2. Listen carefully to the birds and their different sounds. 3. Smell some herbs, for example, mint. 4. Taste some fresh fruit and vegetables. 5. Feel the sand on your hands and feet. Hope you enjoy looking at the photographs.
