🌟 What a wonderful week in Nursery! 🌟

We’ve had a fantastic week bringing our ‘All About Me’ theme to a close with lots of fun, creativity and learning. 💕👧🧒

🏠 The children enjoyed drawing their families and homes, sharing what makes them special.

🦠 We explored how germs spread using food colouring as pretend germs and learned why handwashing is so important. The children also practised washing away playdough germs and had great fun making their own playdough. 🧼👐

👃👀👂👅🖐️ During circle time, we explored our five senses and discussed how we use them to discover the world around us.

🐘🦁🦖 We also shared our favourite animals and brought them to life through movement and role play, including a fantastic triceratops impression!

🎂 We were also delighted to celebrate some special birthdays this week, making happy memories with our nursery friends.

It has been a week full of curiosity, laughter, creativity and learning, and a wonderful way to finish our ‘All About Me’ theme. We are so proud of all the children and everything they have achieved. 💛✨

🌟 All About Me – What a Wonderful Week! 🌟
What a busy and exciting week we’ve had as we continued our “All About Me” theme!

Exploring Our Bodies
We’ve been learning all about the different body parts we have inside and outside our bodies. The children worked together to create a life-size drawing of a body, identifying the different parts along the way. We then became little scientists and explored X-ray images, before painting the bones that we could see.

Our Amazing Senses
We also discovered our five senses and talked about how we use them in our everyday lives. The children enjoyed thinking about all the amazing ways our bodies help us to explore and understand the world around us.

Healthy Bodies & Exercise
Our gardens were full of energy and laughter as we explored how exercise helps to keep our bodies healthy and strong.
The children tackled exciting obstacle courses, practised their aim by throwing bean bags into the hungry caterpillars’ mouths, and enjoyed dancing with colourful scarves. We watched carefully as the scarves twirled, floated and gently fell to the ground.

Autumn Adventures
Our tuff tray took us on an autumn adventure! We explored the season and talked about some of the animals we might discover when exploring the woods. The children enjoyed investigating, imagining and sharing their ideas about the wonderful changes we see in nature during autumn.

It has been a fantastic week full of learning, exploring, moving and, most importantly, having fun!

We can’t wait to see what adventures next week will bring! 🍂

🌈 A Week Full of Feelings, Creativity & Fun! 🌈

What a wonderful week we’ve had at nursery! 💛 We have been exploring our feelings and emotions and had lots of fun learning all about The Colour Monster. 📚🎨

The children got creative making colourful collages and sensory bottles, exploring different colours, textures and materials along the way. We also enjoyed painting  self-portraits and pictures of our families, giving the children the opportunity to talk about themselves and the people who are special to them. 🖌️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

We then put our maths skills to the test! 📏 We measured ourselves and compared our heights, talking about who was taller and who was smaller. The children loved seeing how they measured up! 😊

Our garden activities got a little messy too! 🫧 We explored the fascinating texture of shaving foam, using our hands to squish, spread and investigate this sensory experience. There were certainly lots of messy smiles! 😄

We also enjoyed using our chalkboards to draw pictures of our pets, encouraging the children to share their experiences and talk about the animals they love at home. 🐶🐱🐰

It has been a fantastic week of expressing emotions, developing language, exploring our senses, getting creative and learning through play. 🌟

🌟 All About Me! 🌟

What a fantastic week we’ve had at nursery as we began our new theme, “All About Me!” 💕👧🧒

The children have loved getting creative and making their very own paper versions of themselves and their family members. It has been wonderful to see them talking about the people who are special to them and sharing what makes their families unique. 🏡❤️

We’ve also been busy designing and creating our favourite buildings, including amazing water parks and even our very own homes! 🌊🏠 The children’s imaginations have truly been shining through.

Our garden also became a cosy little home this week, using a pop-up tent where the children could relax, enjoy some quiet time and read their favourite stories together. 📚✨

And of course, we couldn’t forget the flamingos! 🦩💕 A favourite animal amongst everyone, the children had lots of fun creating their own colourful flamingos.

We would also like to wish our wonderful school leavers the very best of luck as they begin their first week at big school! 🎒🏫 We are so proud of you and know you are going to have an amazing time. Remember to be brave, have fun and keep shining! 🌟💕

A very special welcome to all our new friends who have joined us at nursery! 🥰 It has been so lovely meeting you and getting to know you. We are so excited for all the fun, learning and special memories we will make together! 🌈❤️

🌿🐄 What a wonderful week at nursery! 🦆🌧️

This week we enjoyed our final Forest School session before some of our children head off to big school. 🎓💚 We had such a lovely time watching the swans and ducks swimming down the river, and we were even lucky enough to see two boats! 🚤

At Base Camp, we challenged ourselves by developing our balancing skills as we carefully walked along the large logs. We then created a pretend campfire and enjoyed singing lots of songs together. One of our favourites was Blowing in the Wind, where we threw the leaves we had collected up into the air and watched them dance around us. 🍂🎶 We finished our session with a wonderful rainy walk to the skate ramps — what an adventure! ☔️

Back at nursery, we have been exploring farm animals and learning all about how they help us. 🐄🐑🐖 The children enjoyed painting boxes and transforming them into cows, as well as drawing their favourite farm animals. 🎨

In the garden, we used puppets to create and act out our own stories and sang Old MacDonald Had a Farm, experimenting with different beats using our musical instruments. 🎵🐮

During circle time, we explored a lovely book that showed us how to draw different animals. The children then took turns having a go at drawing a polar bear on the chalkboard. 🐻‍❄️✏️

A busy, creative and fun-filled week full of learning, imagination and wonderful memories! 💚🌳

🌿🦁 What a wild week in Nursery! 🦜🐸

This week, we have been learning all about jungle animals! 🌴 The children got creative making their very own parrots, lions and jungle frogs. We explored lots of different textures and talked about the patterns we created on our frogs. 🎨🐸

We were also very excited to talk about the solar eclipse! 🌞🌙 At circle time, the children shared their experiences of watching it at home with their families, with one child wonderfully explaining that “the moon ate the sun!” 🌙☀️ We then used chalks to create our very own solar eclipse pictures. ✨

We have also enjoyed lots of fun at the park and had a wonderful nature walk at Forest School. 🌳 We spotted swans, squirrels and robins and enjoyed exploring the natural world around us. 🦢🐿️🐦

What a fantastic week of learning, exploring, creating and discovering! 💚🌿✨

Over the past few weeks, our children have been busy exploring the exciting world of technology. We have enjoyed lots of discussions about how technology helps us in our everyday lives, using tablets, cameras and robot toys to investigate, learn and develop new skills. 📸🤖💻

And now we have now embarked on a brand-new adventure as we begin learning about Animals Around the World! 🌎🦁🐘🐒

The children have been exploring a variety of animals and their unique patterns, incorporating important mathematical concepts from the EYFS curriculum such as pattern recognition. Through engaging circle times, the children have been encouraged to observe, guess, learn and participate as they identify patterns using different materials, colours and textures. 🔵🟡🔺

Our learning has also taken us to the desert, where we have been discovering fascinating animals such as camels, lions and snakes through our exciting Egypt-themed tuff tray. 🏜️🐪🐍

To bring our topic to life, the children have loved dressing up as their favourite jungle animals, including lions, leopards, elephants and monkeys, using their imaginations as they role-play and explore the animal kingdom together. 🦁🐆🐘🐒

We can’t wait to continue our journey around the world, discovering new animals, habitats and exciting learning opportunities along the way! 🌍✨

🎓🌈 Preschool Graduation 2026 🌈🎓

What an incredibly special and emotional day we have had celebrating our wonderful preschool children as they graduated from Ringle Rainbow Nursery. 💖

We began with a graduation certificate presentation, giving each child the opportunity to be recognised for all of their hard work, growth and achievements throughout their nursery journey. Seeing their smiling faces as they received their certificates was a moment we will treasure forever. 🎓✨

The celebrations continued with a fantastic graduation party filled with fun, laughter and happy memories. The children enjoyed a bouncy castle, soft play, bubbles, obstacle activities, music, dancing, balloon chasing, delicious food and lots of games with their friends. 🎈🫧🎶🏰

As we watched our preschoolers celebrate, we couldn’t help but feel emotional. We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of them and everything they have achieved during their time with us. From developing confidence and independence to building friendships and learning new skills, they have all come so far. It has been a privilege to be part of their early years journey, and whilst we are excited to see them take their next steps at school, we will miss them more than words can say. ❤️

A huge thank you must also go to our amazing staff team. Their dedication, care and commitment never go unnoticed. They show up day after day, come rain or shine, always going above and beyond to create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive, grow and enjoy their nursery experience. We are incredibly grateful for the passion, patience and hard work they bring to the nursery every single day. 🌟

To our graduating class of 2026 – keep believing in yourselves, keep being curious and keep shining brightly. We are so proud of you all and can’t wait to hear about your future adventures. 🌈✨

🌿🍓 This Week at Ringle Rainbow Nursery 🍓🌿
What a wonderful week we’ve had!

The children enjoyed making their very own healthy fruit ice lollies, exploring different fruits and discussing healthy food choices. After all their hard work, they were delighted to enjoy the fruits of their labour, eating their homemade ice lollies for pudding on a warm sunny lunchtime! ☀️🍉🍓
Our Forest School session was also full of excitement and learning. The children practised their balancing skills while exploring the outdoor environment and took part in a fun letter hunt. They searched for hidden letters, identified them correctly, and worked together to put them in the right order to make and read words. It was a fantastic way to combine physical activity with early literacy learning. 🌳🔤📚

To finish our Forest School adventure, we visited the park where the children enjoyed climbing, exploring and developing their physical skills while having lots of fun with their friends. 🛝🌳😊
We are so proud of the children’s enthusiasm, teamwork and willingness to try new experiences. We can’t wait to see what adventures next week brings!
