๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ„ What a wonderful week at nursery! ๐Ÿฆ†๐ŸŒง๏ธ

This week we enjoyed our final Forest School session before some of our children head off to big school. ๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿ’š We had such a lovely time watching the swans and ducks swimming down the river, and we were even lucky enough to see two boats! ๐Ÿšค

At Base Camp, we challenged ourselves by developing our balancing skills as we carefully walked along the large logs. We then created a pretend campfire and enjoyed singing lots of songs together. One of our favourites was Blowing in the Wind, where we threw the leaves we had collected up into the air and watched them dance around us. ๐Ÿ‚๐ŸŽถ We finished our session with a wonderful rainy walk to the skate ramps โ€” what an adventure! โ˜”๏ธ

Back at nursery, we have been exploring farm animals and learning all about how they help us. ๐Ÿ„๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ– The children enjoyed painting boxes and transforming them into cows, as well as drawing their favourite farm animals. ๐ŸŽจ

In the garden, we used puppets to create and act out our own stories and sang Old MacDonald Had a Farm, experimenting with different beats using our musical instruments. ๐ŸŽต๐Ÿฎ

During circle time, we explored a lovely book that showed us how to draw different animals. The children then took turns having a go at drawing a polar bear on the chalkboard. ๐Ÿปโ€โ„๏ธโœ๏ธ

A busy, creative and fun-filled week full of learning, imagination and wonderful memories! ๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒณ

๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿฆ What a wild week in Nursery! ๐Ÿฆœ๐Ÿธ

This week, we have been learning all about jungle animals! ๐ŸŒด The children got creative making their very own parrots, lions and jungle frogs. We explored lots of different textures and talked about the patterns we created on our frogs. ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿธ

We were also very excited to talk about the solar eclipse! ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒ™ At circle time, the children shared their experiences of watching it at home with their families, with one child wonderfully explaining that โ€œthe moon ate the sun!โ€ ๐ŸŒ™โ˜€๏ธ We then used chalks to create our very own solar eclipse pictures. โœจ

We have also enjoyed lots of fun at the park and had a wonderful nature walk at Forest School. ๐ŸŒณ We spotted swans, squirrels and robins and enjoyed exploring the natural world around us. ๐Ÿฆข๐Ÿฟ๏ธ๐Ÿฆ

What a fantastic week of learning, exploring, creating and discovering! ๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒฟโœจ

Over the past few weeks, our children have been busy exploring the exciting world of technology. We have enjoyed lots of discussions about how technology helps us in our everyday lives, using tablets, cameras and robot toys to investigate, learn and develop new skills. ๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿค–๐Ÿ’ป

And now we have now embarked on a brand-new adventure as we begin learning about Animals Around the World! ๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’

The children have been exploring a variety of animals and their unique patterns, incorporating important mathematical concepts from the EYFS curriculum such as pattern recognition. Through engaging circle times, the children have been encouraged to observe, guess, learn and participate as they identify patterns using different materials, colours and textures. ๐Ÿ”ต๐ŸŸก๐Ÿ”บ

Our learning has also taken us to the desert, where we have been discovering fascinating animals such as camels, lions and snakes through our exciting Egypt-themed tuff tray. ๐Ÿœ๏ธ๐Ÿช๐Ÿ

To bring our topic to life, the children have loved dressing up as their favourite jungle animals, including lions, leopards, elephants and monkeys, using their imaginations as they role-play and explore the animal kingdom together. ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’

We canโ€™t wait to continue our journey around the world, discovering new animals, habitats and exciting learning opportunities along the way! ๐ŸŒโœจ

๐ŸŽ“๐ŸŒˆ Preschool Graduation 2026 ๐ŸŒˆ๐ŸŽ“

What an incredibly special and emotional day we have had celebrating our wonderful preschool children as they graduated from Ringle Rainbow Nursery. ๐Ÿ’–

We began with a graduation certificate presentation, giving each child the opportunity to be recognised for all of their hard work, growth and achievements throughout their nursery journey. Seeing their smiling faces as they received their certificates was a moment we will treasure forever. ๐ŸŽ“โœจ

The celebrations continued with a fantastic graduation party filled with fun, laughter and happy memories. The children enjoyed a bouncy castle, soft play, bubbles, obstacle activities, music, dancing, balloon chasing, delicious food and lots of games with their friends. ๐ŸŽˆ๐Ÿซง๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿฐ

As we watched our preschoolers celebrate, we couldnโ€™t help but feel emotional. We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of them and everything they have achieved during their time with us. From developing confidence and independence to building friendships and learning new skills, they have all come so far. It has been a privilege to be part of their early years journey, and whilst we are excited to see them take their next steps at school, we will miss them more than words can say. โค๏ธ

A huge thank you must also go to our amazing staff team. Their dedication, care and commitment never go unnoticed. They show up day after day, come rain or shine, always going above and beyond to create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive, grow and enjoy their nursery experience. We are incredibly grateful for the passion, patience and hard work they bring to the nursery every single day. ๐ŸŒŸ

To our graduating class of 2026 โ€“ keep believing in yourselves, keep being curious and keep shining brightly. We are so proud of you all and canโ€™t wait to hear about your future adventures. ๐ŸŒˆโœจ

๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ“ This Week at Ringle Rainbow Nursery ๐Ÿ“๐ŸŒฟ
What a wonderful week weโ€™ve had!

The children enjoyed making their very own healthy fruit ice lollies, exploring different fruits and discussing healthy food choices. After all their hard work, they were delighted to enjoy the fruits of their labour, eating their homemade ice lollies for pudding on a warm sunny lunchtime! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ“
Our Forest School session was also full of excitement and learning. The children practised their balancing skills while exploring the outdoor environment and took part in a fun letter hunt. They searched for hidden letters, identified them correctly, and worked together to put them in the right order to make and read words. It was a fantastic way to combine physical activity with early literacy learning. ๐ŸŒณ๐Ÿ”ค๐Ÿ“š

To finish our Forest School adventure, we visited the park where the children enjoyed climbing, exploring and developing their physical skills while having lots of fun with their friends. ๐Ÿ›๐ŸŒณ๐Ÿ˜Š
We are so proud of the childrenโ€™s enthusiasm, teamwork and willingness to try new experiences. We canโ€™t wait to see what adventures next week brings!

๐ŸŒฟโœจ What a fantastic week at Ringle Rainbow Nursery! โœจ
Weโ€™ve been busy exploring, discovering, creating and learning through play every day!

๐ŸŒณ During our Forest School sessions, the children learned how to estimate a treeโ€™s age by looking at the rings in logs found on the forest floor. We also enjoyed a trip to the park, where teamwork and creativity came together as we built our very own den using branches we collected.

๐Ÿ” Our little detectives went on an exciting letter hunt, searching high and low to spot letters in the world around them and develop their early literacy skills.

๐ŸŽจ Fine motor skills were put to the test as the children used spray bottles to create marks, patterns and artwork, strengthening the muscles needed for future writing.

๐Ÿ”ข We enjoyed playing dominoes to practise counting, matching and number recognition, while colourful peg activities helped us explore and continue patterns.

๐Ÿš— Imagination and teamwork were in full swing as the children used large construction bricks to design and build an amazing car garage, sharing ideas and working together to bring their vision to life.

๐Ÿ… We also enjoyed a fun-filled mini Sports Day! The children showed fantastic enthusiasm and determination as they took part in a variety of activities. They even challenged the staff to a sack race and a tug of war, which brought lots of laughter, excitement and team spirit for everyone involved!

๐Ÿ’š From outdoor adventures and problem-solving to creative play, physical challenges and new discoveries, it has been a week filled with learning, laughter and wonderful memories.
