Happy Pancake Day! 🥞

Today, all the children have enjoyed trying some yummy pancakes with a range of different toppings!

The babies had a real sensory experience, exploring the new textures and tastes of the pancakes and the fruit toppings!

Yesterday, the children were busy making pancakes with playdough. Using rolling pins to flatten it out and then attempting to flip the playdough pancake in the air! Discussions were held over which toppings everyone liked and which ones they were excited to try!

Today, it was time to make the pancakes for real! Measuring out the ingredients, mixing them together and flipping them in the saucepan! The decision was made for strawberries, bananas and some chocolate chips to be used as toppings. Some children made faces with their toppings, whilst others made dinosaurs!

We hope you got to enjoy some pancakes too! 🥞

🎅Santa is coming! ❄️☃️

Over the last few weeks, we have been busy getting into the Christmas spirit. The children have enjoyed putting up our final decorations, making party hats for our Christmas dinner, and creating beautiful decorations for the Christmas tree.

The children took part in a fun experiment using pipettes to drop coloured liquid onto cotton wool and watched what happened. We’ve also done lots of dancing to festive music and even got the musical instruments out to create our very own Christmas music band!

The children have been full of excitement, talking all about Father Christmas and writing their Christmas letters in preparation for the big day.

As we get closer to closing for Christmas, we would like to wish all our parents and staff a very Merry Christmas. Thank you for your continued support throughout the year. We hope you all have a safe, happy, and well-deserved break.🎅⛄️❄️
