🌈 TOTS CLASS IS BACK! 🌈

We’ve been having a little break from Tots while I’ve been busy running another class, but we’re back and I can’t wait to welcome everyone again! 🥰

Our tots class is all about giving your little ones a space to play, explore and do their own thing. While giving you a chance to sit down, enjoy a warm cuppa and have a good old chat with other grown-ups. ☕️💬

Because let’s be honest, sometimes a hot cup of tea and a bit of adult conversation is exactly what we need! ❤️

There’ll also be snacks for the little ones to enjoy while they play! 🍓🍪

A LITTLE NERVOUS ABOUT COMING ALONG?

Please don’t be! I know walking into a new group can sometimes feel a bit daunting, especially if you don’t know anyone. But the parents, childminders and grandparents who come along are some of the loveliest people I’ve met, and new faces are always welcome. 🫶🏼

You don’t need to know anyone before you come and you certainly don’t need to worry about fitting in. Just come as you are. 🤗

Whether your little one is 2 weeks old or 2 years old, there’s a place for you here. 🤍

So, if you fancy getting out of the house, meeting some lovely people, letting your little one have a play and enjoying a cuppa while it’s still warm (hopefully! 😂), we’d love to see you!

We know how much you love our Halloween Special Sensory Sessions, so we’ve added EXTRA DATES!

🧡 Saturday 24th October 🧡

For all those parents who can’t make our weekday sessions, these extra sessions are especially for you! 🥰

These will be two special sessions running, divided into two different age groups:

🎃 Pre-walkers 'TINY'
🕸️ Independent walkers 'LITTLE'

The current block has come to an end - a class full of the cutest wee babas and honestly the loveliest mummy's! 🥰

Join me for a sensory rich experience designed especially for you and your little one 🤱🏼

🎶 Explore music, textures, movement, lights and so much more! Each class is carefully designed to engage all your baby’s senses, spark curiosity and support early development in a fun, nurturing environment.

✨New theme each week ✨

Sensory classes are wonderful for babies because they gently support every area of early development through play, exploration, and connection.

- Builds brain connections and supports early learning 🧠

- Develops fine & gross motor skills

-Strengthens your bond through shared exploration 💕

-Boosts confidence as your baby discovers the world 👶🏼

This is the perfect first class to support their growth through play 🤗

Also - not forgetting the mummy's 🙈 spending time with your baby is great - getting to know other mummy's, building friendships and creating a support network - in my eyes this is as equally important ❤️

My aim is that Mummy Matters is a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment - I hope this class will provide exactly that! 🤗

As always, there will be caffeine and treats provided! ☕🍰🧁

🌱Massage and Melody 🌱

With the current block coming to an end, I have now opened the booking link for our next block!

Very sad to say goodbye to this block of mummy's - such a lovely group of girls and beautiful little babas.

The next session begins Monday 12th October at 12 noon- a perfect time to relax your little one just before their afternoon nap! 😴😴

I absolutely love running this class, there is something so special about getting to spend time with new mummys - chatting to them about the changes of life and how they are settling into becoming a mummy.

This class is chance for mummy's to pause, enjoy a cuppa and be around mummy's in the same situation.

During the 4 weeks this course will teach you all the techniques to give your little one a relaxing (and very beneficial) massage from head to toe! 👣

Personally, I feel like baby massage is a perfect first class for you and your little one.

Why?

•Helps your baby sleep better and feel calmer.

•Aids digestion as well as easing colic or wind.

•Supports healthy development and circulation.

It's also the perfect way to connect and give your little one some undivided attention - that is sometimes impossible at home with house work building up, laundry and other little kids running around.

Plus, you’ll get the chance to connect with other local mummy's, share experiences and enjoy a well-deserved cuppa. ☕🍰

Everyone will have their own little pack waiting for them on arrival. Each will include:

A take-home pack of massage notes so you can practice at home 🗒️

Baby-friendly jojoba oil to use in class and bring along each week.

Get ready for a spooktacular time filled with laughter, fun and a little Halloween magic! 🧡✨

Come along dressed in your favourite costume and enjoy a fun-filled session of Halloween-themed games, music, movement, bubble fun and lots of lovely surprises! 🫧🎶🎨

There’ll be some yummy Halloween treats, plenty of photo opportunities to capture those special memories and a little gift for every child to take home. 👻🍬📸

We can’t wait to see all your little witches, wizards, pumpkins and spooky characters! 🧙‍♀️👻🎃

🎃👻 Something spooktacular is coming! 👻🎃

Very excited to share that our Halloween themed sensory classes will be available to book from Tuesday 22nd September! (I know, how are we at this stage of the year already!)

Come along with your little one for some sensory spooky fun!

Filled with music, movement, bubbles, crafts and plenty of Halloween magic! 🫧🎶🎨🕷️

There’ll be lots of opportunities to explore, play and make some lovely memories together. ✨

More information will be released very soon, including all the details you’ll need to choose the class that’s perfect for you and your little one.

As a mummy of twins myself, I know the financial struggle all too well!

They came as one little package, so why should admission be any different? 🥰

I’ve just gotten into bed beside my little twinnies - sleep is impossible tonight.

Maybe it’s because once they waken everything changes again.

The school holidays are over and back to routine. Back to rushed mornings, trying to get three little people dressed, fed and out the door on time. Back to wondering what I’ve forgotten — do they have P.E.? Did I book after-schools? Probably not.

I know most parents are ready for the kids to go back but if I’m honest, I’m not.

I’m not ready to say goodbye to our lazy mornings, when the four of us could pile into one bed and watch a film until 11am. Packing a picnic and heading off somewhere just because we could. The cuddles, the chats and most of all the days of just being us four.

I’m not ready to give my babies back to the real world just yet.

I absolutely love my job, more than I could ever express, but there is something so special about having my babies home with me. Even on the days when we do absolutely nothing, they somehow become my favourite days.

Because once school starts, life moves at a completely different pace.

School runs, work, homework, activities, dinner, baths, bedtime… the list goes on. And somewhere amongst it all, I’m trying to be a good mummy while running on empty.

I know how lucky I am - my kids go to a brilliant school, have incredible teachers and genuinely love going in. For that, I will always be grateful.

But being grateful doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt.

People always tell you, “Enjoy them while they’re young. Time flies.” And of course they were right.

They’re still my little babas, but they’re just not quite as tiny as they were before.

My three little best friends. Just growing up far too quickly.

So, any of you mummy's feeling the same - I'm right here with you.

Back to reality we go.

Coffee will most definitely be my best friend for today.

There’s something about taking your baby to your first baby class that can feel so much bigger than it sounds. 🤍

You might find yourself wondering…

Will my baby settle?
What if they cry the whole time?
What if everyone already knows each other?

And honestly, those thoughts are completely normal.

Walking into a new environment with your little one can feel daunting, especially when you’re already navigating the huge adjustment of motherhood. You don’t know the faces, you don’t know the routine and you have no idea how your baby is going to react.

But here’s the thing…

You don’t need to have it all figured out before you go. Baby classes aren’t about having a perfectly settled baby or being the mum who knows exactly what she’s doing.

They’re about showing up, giving it a go and finding a little space where you and your baby can enjoy something together.

And there can be so many beautiful benefits:

✨ For baby: new sights, sounds, faces and experiences. They get to explore, play, learn and become comfortable in new environments.

✨ For mummy: a reason to get out of the house, meet other mums, have a chat with someone who understands and hopefully feel a little less alone.

And if your baby cries? That’s okay.

If they don’t settle straight away? That’s okay too.

If you feel nervous walking through the door? That’s okay.

There will most definitely be another mummy in that room feeling exactly the same.

Sometimes the hardest part is simply walking through the door for the first time.

And sometimes, that one little step can lead to new friendships, happy memories and a place where both you and your baby feel completely at home. 🤍

So if you’re a little nervous about trying a baby class, take this as your gentle reminder:

You don’t have to feel confident before you go. You just have to be brave enough to give it a try. 🌿

And who knows… it might just become one of your favourite parts of the week. 💕
