We love a rainy day walk around the village. Today it sarted with catching rain drops from the church roof for a "shower" and jumping in puddles. Then saw lots of worms and spoke about their sizes, we also saw some different fungui growing on the branches. We researched them and found out one was Jelly Ear.
The children also enjoyed looking at the sheep and chickens and smelling the daffodils we passed. So lucky to have the countryside on our doorstep.

Feeling the love, one of my mindee's baked some cupcakes for me and my family. How thoughtful are they ❤️
There were 4 but 2 were eaten by my little people before I could take a picture 🧡

Excited for the children to see the playroom tomorrow after a busy weekend rearranging and sorting through the toys.

I've added:
● A shelving unit so the children can make their own choices on the toys they want out. Which helps with their Personal, Social and Emotional Development.
●Space for our pet baby Giant African Land snail Snaily. Which helps their Understanding of The World, and how to behave around small animals.
● Space for our butterfly who we watched grow from a tiny caterpillar. We released all the other butterflies, but we have kept "Bird" the butterfly as unfortunately their wings didn't form properly after it hatched and wouldn't survive in the wild by it self. So he/she is living their best life with us with daily fruit and nectar water.
● An invitation to play and recap on our Caterpillar life cycle, which helps their Understanding of The World.
● An invitation to play with scales and weigh different objects to promote mathematics.
● A book case for the books as our book corner was growing with lots of books. We now have a book case to keep them all neatly on.
● A tonie box, for the children to listen to stories independently/ with friends, which will help promote the childrens communication and language, listening skills, and positive relationships with their friends.
● Finger puppets, for the children to use their imagination and start to make up their own stories. Which will help develop their speech, positive relationships with peers, and their own imagination.

October fun at Manny Pippins. Walk around the village, visit to Small breeds farm, potion making exploring pumpkins.
The children have had lots of fun!

Tomorrow marks a year of me being a registered childminder! So I thought I'd treat myself to a 4 seater wagon so we can get around easier on all of our adventures!

The children and I have had a fabulous year exploring Herefordshire and making new friends. I have also loved watching them grow and develop their own personalities.

A space has just become available on a Monday and Wednesday from January 2025. So get in touch if you would like your little one to join in on the fun!

The children loved playing with our new valentines treasure basket last week from Xander’s Treasure I added some organza bags filled with rose petals and lavender and we read the Guess how much I love you book.
