Across our 16 schools, 707 members of staff show up every day to give their best for the children in their care. Teachers, teaching assistants, office teams, site staff, pastoral leads, and school leaders. Every single one of them plays a part in making our schools the places they are.

It's not always seen from the outside. It's in the early morning planning and the late afternoon phone call home. The warm welcome at the gate. The quiet word of encouragement before something difficult. The small moments that leave a lasting mark.

At OLHOC, we believe that when staff feel valued and supported, children thrive. Investing in our people is always a priority.

🏛️✨ We were incredibly proud to see our Golden Key Society students take centre stage at this year's Mayor Making Ceremony! ️🎤

Following a visit from incoming Mayor Councillor Jon Stockton, our students were selected to serve as Masters of Ceremony after impressing with their confidence, professionalism and outstanding public speaking skills. 🌟👏

Councillor Stockton and Beverly Stockton visited EPCHS to watch students audition for the prestigious role. The standard was so high that a wider group of Golden Key students were also invited to attend the ceremony as special guests of the Mayor. 🎖️

Our Golden Key Society provides high-potential students with opportunities to develop their leadership, public speaking, debating, mentoring and community engagement skills. 🗣️

To play such an important role in one of the borough's most significant civic events is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the hard work, dedication and talent of our students. 🏆

The experience provided a valuable opportunity to engage with local democracy, represent our school with pride and showcase the confidence and leadership skills they have developed through the programme. 🌍✨

We don't just educate children to have more. We educate them to be more.

Academic success matters deeply to us, but it's only part of the story. Our schools are places where children grow in character, wisdom and values, where they learn to be kind, to serve others and to live with real purpose.
