Next year, Mrs Naughton, a member of school staff will be running the London Marathon to raise money for The Rossendale Trust.

Next Thursday 22nd October all children in Pre School and main school will be taking part in a ‘Mini London Marathon’ to help Mrs Naughton raise money. Sponsorship forms should have all gone home now so every penny you can raise will be greatly appreciated.

Below is also Mrs Naughton’s just giving page if you would like to sponsor her directly using the link.

💚 Today is World Mental Health Day! 💚

This year's theme is…
Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change. It is highlighting the importance of listening to people with lived experience of mental health challenges. These conversations can make a real difference.

We all have times when life feels a little overwhelming, and sometimes having someone who genuinely listens can make all the difference.

As Mental Health UK has shared:
“It's good to talk. It's even better to be heard."

We have had such a busy week… Amongst other things we have enjoyed a nature walk, made autumnal wands, enjoyed making leaf and bark rubbings and explored an autumnal tuff tray with leaves, sticks and conkers - we used these in our play to support language, counting and conversations about Autumn and the changes we see this time of year. 🍁 🍂 🍃
