A lovely little throwback to our Musical Moments show that took place in July this year!! 💕💕

My musical theatre students never fail to amaze me!! 🙌🙌 Especially as most of these students classes themselves as dancers, yet they still go out there and sing and act their hearts out and put on an incredible show!! 👏👏

I’m so excited to be back with our classes tomorrow, especially as it’s a musical theatre class evening, so that means SHOW WORK!! 🤩🤩 BUT, it’ll be two types of show work, as for those taking part in our Iconic dance showcase they’ll be working on our Iconic routines, and everyone else will be already starting work towards next years musical moments showcase!! 🥰🥰 I can’t wait to share with everyone all of my ideas!! 😍😍

CLASSES START BACK TOMORROW!! 🔥🔥

I cannot WAIT to be back if you cannot tell!! 😅😅 But it my FAVOURITE time of the year!! 💕💕 We are almost in the ‘BER’ months, which I’m an autumn/winter girly, so I’m always in my prime this time of year, we have our annual dance showcase and awards ceremony (which other than Christmas are my favourite days of the year), it’s almost Christmas, and on top of it we have our usual day to day classes, competitions, festivals and all of that good stuff!! 👏👏

Todays clip from last years show is our upper jazz grades routine!! 🙌🙌 I love a jazz number me!! 🫶🫶 And once again, yes, it was a favourite of mine!! 🤪🤪 At this point I think anything these kids do is my favourite, they just make everything look soooo good, and bring my visions to life!! 👏👏

Can you tell I’m excited for this years show?? 🥰🥰 I just LOVE seeing my students SHINE on the stage!! 🤩🤩 This year we have found a way to incorporate EVERY class we have on offer here at NGD with the exception of our adults class, into this years show, so even our aerial classes will be making an appearance!! 😍😍

It’s definitely going to be a show NOT to be missed watching this year, so make sure to grab your tickets before it’s too late!! 🙌🙌

This video is our senior street dancers in last years shows and as always they were AMAZING!! 🔥🔥 And I feel like a broken record, but, it was another me piece of choreography, and again a piece I very much love watching and loved creating!! 🫶🫶

Something about me that I feel like unless you are apart of NGD you wouldn’t know, but a big passion of mine is choreographing!! ✨✨ I don’t think I’m able to not listen to a song and not have some sort of routine going off in my head!! 😂😂 I love telling a story with my choreography, I love finding new skills to put in routines and I love creating new movements and steps and putting them all together and making something amazing!! 🌟🌟

Another day closer to our annual Iconic show, AND another day closer to the first day of term!! 👏👏

We have got SO MUCH to look forward to here at NGD in the back end of this year, from our show, to competitions, to our annual awards ceremony, as well as so much more!! 😍😍 We are definitely going to be BUSY!! 🤩🤩

Here is another video from last years Iconic show, and this was our Musical Theatre Class’s routine!! 🌟🌟 As our musical theatre class gets its own stand alone singing, dancing and acting showcase once a year, this class just performs a routine in our dance showcase to keep in line with this show in particular!! ✨✨ This was another piece created by myself, and I loved the high energy the whole class brought to this routine!! 🥰🥰 This routine was put together in just a matter of WEEKS, compared to other classes where we have longer, as this class has two shows a year to work towards, and look how insane they all did!! 🔥🔥 No repeating choruses, lots of original and high energy choreography, and lots of content in this routine!! 💕💕 The youngest in this routine at the time was just 10 years old, and the eldest as 17, a huge age gap, and nothing but support, hard work and team work amongst them all!! 👏👏

I can’t WAIT to continue cracking on with the musical theatre dance showcase routines, as they are looking AMAZING!! 😍😍 Just a few days till we are back and I get to do so!! 💪💪

✨ 614 individual class sign ups across all classes and private lessons in a week!!
✨ 2 FULL aerial silks and hoop classes!!
✨ 1 FULL acrobatic class, with two more just a couple of spaces off being full!!

I’m getting myself in SHOW MODE!! 🤩🤩

Last night I had a watch of last years ICONIC dance show, and it was defintely a lovey trip down memory lane!! 🥰🥰 I was welling up at the tots in disbelief in how much they’ve all grown in a year, bursting with pride over the minis looking at how much they’ve all improved, smiling and dancing along with the juniors because of their top tier energy, and watching the seniors in amazement as they always bring their a-game!! 🔥🔥 Overall, I was just once again reminded how insane every child is here at NGD, their talent, passion and energy just shines through and I couldn’t be prouder of each and every student!! 🙌🙌

This routine was last years senior commercial number, and to this day it’s one of my favourite show routines I’ve created so far!! 😍😍

I cannot wait to see all of my amazing students shine once again in a few weeks time in this years ICONIC dance showcase!! ✨✨ This year is all about the 90S!! 🛼🛼 It’s definitely going to be a dance showcase you do not want to miss out on!! 🌟🌟
