WELCOME TO MONTESSORI DESIGN
Montessori Design is me, Nuccia Lipscombe (H.N.D 3D Design, Int.Mont.Dip Adv.Mont.Dip) and my perfectionist partner, Andrew Hopkins. I originally trained at Portsmouth College of Art, specialising in 3D Design. Whilst travelling through the Caribbean, America and Europe working in a variety of Montessori settings, I completed my Montessori Diploma. When I returned to
the UK I worked for and ran several Montessori schools before setting up my own in the heart of the New Forest. Ten years later and I decided it was time to move on, so I sold the school as a going concern. I then set up Montessori Design which is based in Lymington. I have a small workshop where I spend most of my week designing and making equipment. I was approached by Nienhuis, makers of the best Montessori equipment in the world, to become their UK Distributor and Ambassador.
