30th Oct 2025 Workshop Phillip Khan-Pani, a co-founder of PSA UK and Ireland, presented on the Dynamic Leadership Path in Toastmasters' Pathways program and shared insights from his own experience completing the path. He led a workshop on effective speech-making, introducing tools and frameworks for improving public speaking skills and persuasion techniques. The session concluded with discussions on CV writing, job applications, and delivering funeral speeches, with participants expressing appreciation for Phillip's insights and requesting future sessions on related topics Topics covered
1) Dynamic Leadership Path in Toastmasters
Phillip i, a long-standing Toastmaster and co-founder of the PSA UK and Ireland, delivered a presentation on the Dynamic Leadership Path in Toastmasters' Pathways program. He outlined the structure and requirements of the path, including its five levels and 16 projects, and shared insights from his own experience completing the path .

2) Workshop on Effective Public Speaking
The meeting focused on a workshop titled "Speaking to be Heard," led by Phillip Khani. Tamara provided an evaluation of Phillip's earlier speech .

3) Enhancing Speech Impact Strategies
Phillip led a discussion on effective speech-making, emphasising the importance of connecting with listeners' expectations and having a clear purpose

4) Mastering Persuasive Public Speaking
Phillip shared personal anecdotes and lessons on communication and public speaking, emphasising the importance of making speeches that are distinctive and engaging. He introduced the concept of the AIDA sequence (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) as a framework Other topics covered

6th Nov we had a wonderful In-person meeting at Irish Forum. We missed those did not attend We had two speakers: 1) First with” A Comparison Between The UK And Southern EU” an amazing 2 characters emphasising the differences between UK and Southern EU in tonality and movement on stage. 2) Second “Losing a friend/relative” an emotive speech of her memories of a close friend/ relative.

After a break we had 6 Table Topic speakers ranging from a full energy explosive speech to “it’s my first night – I did not expect to speaking on stage speaking”. It is okay, at Luton Toastmasters we provide a safe and supportive environment for everyone
