The Non Violence Alliance
[email protected] The topic of violent weapon crime committed by groups of young people is no new phenomenon.

Crime involving weapons transcends deeper than ethnicity and occurs across all races, with neighbourhood poverty and unemployment being the underlying causes. The Non Violence Alliance have been campaigning for safer streets and neigbourhoods in our community since 2008. The N.V.A (Non Violence Alliance) is currently seeking discussions with local government bodies, community and voluntary organis

Lenos Wilson founded The TNVA in order to promote non-violence as a way of life - He believed in the young people of Luton - he believed that youth violence, gang mentality and extremism not only should but could be ended.

He is sadly missed and even though we know we will fall short of his vision the TNVA continue to do our best to realise his vision.

On Saturday Britain First are coming to Luton - we are worried for our young people - and fearful that some may be provoked and criminalised.

We would encourage anyone who wishes to counter Britain First to do so in a disciplined and non violent manner. The TNVA will be mediating at the counter demonstration to be held at the Train Station .

We will be active in reassuring members of the public who are not part of the demonstration; and working to calm the counter protesters - there is not a single group protesting here but a number of groups each with different ideas on how to stop Britain First. More importantly we will be looking to make sure that young people do not get in trouble.

We are meeting at 9:15 and would ask that all TNVA trained or experienced mediators to attend at the train station to be briefed. the TNVA are not part of the counter demonstration itself. Please attend if you can help.

Some time has passed since the very sad loss of our dear friend Lenos Wilson who will-fully dedicated his time to teach non violence and help everyone that he touched find their true path in life.
TNVA invite you to come along with us to the minutes silence for violence, taking place in Downing street this friday where we will be taking some time to honour our friend and teacher and remember others that have been taken from us far to soon.
If your not able to make it to london have a minutes silence to remember them where ever you are at 12:00 midday, take a photo of it and post it to the page when you can.
