The University of Bedfordshire Arts and Culture Projects team are seeking a Heritage Projects and Partnerships Officer who is reliable, collaborative and has a proven track record in working with diverse local cultural and community-based stakeholders. Based in the Arts and Culture Projects team, and reporting to the Manager of Arts and Culture Projects, the Heritage Projects & Partnerships Officer will deliver our culture sector support programmes: Heritage Impact Accelerator and Heritage Enterprise Hub, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF). Responsibilities include:
To develop the work of Heritage Enterprise Hub, providing virtual and physical sessions that give practical help to cultural practitioners and organisations working across heritage.
Continue to deliver Heritage Impact Accelerator, including working closely and responsively to cohort 1 and cohort 2
Work with the Manager of Arts and Culture to develop and deliver a range of project dissemination events and summits in March 2023
Take proactive measures to be inclusive, remove barriers to access and reach new and diverse audiences to the delivery of the project.
Based on our Luton campus, the successful candidate will be a key part of the Arts & Culture Projects team, working with the Heritage Projects Administrator to ensure the successful co-ordination, development and delivery of project activity. The post holder will work closely with key contacts across the university's professional services, academic functions the Faculty of CATS, as well as laterally across the wider institution. The role will also work with key local partners, beneficiaries and wider project stakeholders within the community.
This fixed-term 0.8FTE post is for 12 months with a salary of £27,923 per annum pro rata and includes a wide range of institutional staff benefits .

OPPORTUNITY TO TENDER: EXTERNAL EVALUATION OF THE NATIONAL LOTTERY HERITAGE FUNDED HERITAGE IMPACT ACCELERATOR AND HERITAGE ENTERPRISE HUB PROJECTS
The University of Bedfordshire’s Arts and Culture Projects team is seeking an independent evaluator to assess the impact of Heritage Impact Accelerator and Heritage Enterprise Hub within Luton, an area of focus for the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Full tender documents have been published to the secure area of the University of Bedfordshire web site. Please note that you will need to register to submit a tender.
Key dates:
Deadline for tender submission: Friday 8th July 2022
Evaluator appointed: August 2022
Final submission date: March 2023
Proposals should include a full budget plan for the whole costs, including anticipated travel, expenses and VAT. All costs and those responsible for undertaking work should be clear and transparent in both the application and the budget, clarifying the number of days of worked. Decisions will be based on perceived value for money against the quality of the application, rather than the lowest cost proposal. A maximum £12,000 (inclusive of VAT) is available for the contract period (August 2022 – March 2023).
