January has been a month of learning about the Antarctica whilst continuing to enjoy our weekly sessions of phonics, dance lessons and having Artventurers visit. 🎨🫟Our children have settled so well after the Christmas break that they’ve filled up their Marble jar and we have a soft play bus visiting this Thursday! 🥳 Here are some of our highlights from January! We are very much looking forward to Jolly Beans starting their Friday afternoon sessions with us from this week! 🎶

Another great session of Artventurers this morning at our Pre-School! 🎨 This months messy play was based on the wonderful story of ‘Stick man’.

Our pack away setting needed an improved sensory and relaxation area for our children! ❤️

Artventurers visit our setting once a month and the children love the messy experience! 🎨 This months session was based on our ‘all about me’ theme!

Are you passionate about supporting young children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you believe in inclusive, nurturing environments where every child can thrive?

At Slip End Pre-School, we are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and patient SEND Support Assistant to join our dedicated team. You’ll be working closely with individual children and small groups, helping them access the Early Years curriculum and reach their full potential.

💡 What You’ll Do:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with additional needs
Work alongside the SENCo and manager to deliver tailored learning activities
Support children’s emotional, social, and physical development
Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Keep clear and consistent records to support children’s learning journeys.

✅ What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with young children (preferably in an Early Years/SEND setting)
A calm, patient, and positive attitude
Knowledge of EYFS and SEND strategies is an advantage
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare, SEND training) are desirable
A team player who is committed to inclusive education.

What an amazing end of year we had!! 🥳 Our first ever festival day featuring a mobile farm, Make it Perfect Soft Play & Bouncy Castles, Believe in yourself sleepovers, plus tattoos, wrist bands and all of our wonderful families! ❤️

Our graduation ceremony was amazing and Balloonboutiques Decor made sure it looked fantastic!! 🎈Huge amounts of luck to all our graduates and we look forward to our new starters in September-have the best summer everyone! X

This morning at Slip End Preschool we had https://www.animaledge.co.uk/ come to visit our setting! We were lucky with the sunshine and our children had a great time petting the animals! Would highly recommend for functions/birthday parties or maybe even a village day! 🤔

🎓 Our Pre-School Graduation 🎓

What a lovely afternoon of saying goodbye to our lovely children that are moving on-thank you so much to the parents that came! A huge thank you to Claire (Laila’s Mummy) for the incredible t-shirts and Sian (Sha’layah’s Mummy) for the amazing decorations and cake!! 🙌🏻

We will miss all of our children that are leaving and wish them huge amounts of luck for the future-not that they need it!! 🤩 Xx

Today at Slip End Pre-School we had Little City - South Bedfordshire visit us for the second time. Thank you Obrene for providing such a lovely for morning for our children-would highly recommend for your little ones! X

If you’re looking for a Pre-School place from September then feel free to pop in to our setting between 4pm-6pm on Thursday 27th June to find out more information.

We are rated Ofsted ‘Good’ and provide a range of activities for our children every day. We have weekly Phonics sessions, weekly dance sessions, lots of outdoor play and numerous events throughout the year.

We cater for children aged 2-4 years offering morning or full day sessions. Please get in touch if you have any questions, we look forward to meeting new parents at our open afternoon.
