🍂✨ Welcome Back! ✨🍂

We’re so excited to welcome all of our wonderful children back to nursery for a brand-new term! 💛 We hope everyone has had a lovely break, and we’re looking forward to all the fun, learning and adventures ahead.

🌟 Our topic this term is “All About Me!” 🌟
As the children settle back into nursery, we’ll be spending lots of time getting to know each child — their personalities, families, favourite things, interests and everything that makes them wonderfully unique. 🥰

🧚🌳 We’ve also begun transforming our book corner into a peaceful fairy-tale woodland area, creating a cosy and magical space where the children can relax, explore books and enjoy stories together. Here’s a little look at the start of our progress… 📚✨🍄

Tomorrow, the children will be enjoying a Beach-Themed Day! 🌊🏖️

Our calm corner has been transformed into an Under the Sea retreat, where Oliver the Octopus is on hand to help his friends stay calm and regulate their emotions. 🐙💙

To make the space even more relaxing, we'll be adding a beautiful jellyfish projector tomorrow, creating a peaceful underwater atmosphere for the children to enjoy.

We can't wait to share more photos with you soon! 📸✨

Today children have been excited about our win over the weekend again. We created a “it’s coming home activity” which the children were highly engaged with. Eventually the house turned into a school.

Children have also enjoyed adding toys to the corn flour. We have left this to dry in the morning for children to enjoy the new texture.

To help keep all of our little bees safe while enjoying outdoor play, please remember to:🧴 Apply sun cream before arriving at nursery.👒 Send your child with a sun hat (and sunglasses if they have them).👟 Ensure they wear secure footwear – no open-toe sandals. Crocs are welcome if they fit securely.💧 Bring a named water bottle to help keep them hydrated throughout the day.

Today we celebrated England winning the game last night. Children had fun taking in turns explaining which team they will be playing with. It got very competitive but France was a keen winner for the children.

With warmer weather and higher UV levels, it's important to keep little ones safe while enjoying the outdoors.

🌞 Apply sunscreen before coming to nursery🧢 Bring a sun hat with your child's name in it💧 Send a filled water bottle each day👕 Dress children in light, loose-fitting clothing🌳 We’ll be making use of shaded areas and encouraging regular water breaks throughout the day

Please remember that even on cloudy days, UV levels can be high. Together, we can help keep everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in the sunshine! ☀️💛
