Yesterday was National Numeracy Day, and pupils across the school were getting involved by completing number challenges and discovering more about how numeracy shapes our lives every day.

Congratulations to the pupils who took part in the Junior UK Maths Challenge!

We had a number of Bronze & Silver awards, and even Gold awards! Two pupils even qualified for the next round, we look forward to seeing how they progress throughout the challenge.

Year 10 pupils went head-to-head in an Apprentice Catapult challenge lead by WiseUp Team Building

They built working catapults to budget & pitch it to the panel to gain investment.

Pupils collaborated and developed their products and businesses whilst improving their teamwork skills.

Well done to all our pupils who took part in the CLT Digital Showcase project!

They worked really hard on their app, and that came through in their presentation and showcase. Luton Go: Landmarks was liked so much by the industry experts that they awarded it second place!

Last week, KS3 Geography pupils conducted a field-study at the River Lea.

They were investigating the water quality of the river and assessing the impact of human activities; allowing students to build a comprehensive picture of the river's condition.

We are really pleased to share that the Employee of the Month for April is Ms Jablonska!

She has made a great contribution to Lea Manor, especially in the English Department and her work with Reading across the Curriculum.

13 pupils recently enjoyed an exciting trip to the International Table Tennis Federation at the Copper Box Arena.

It was a fantastic day out, giving pupils the opportunity to watch some of the worldโ€™s top international players compete for their countries at the highest level.

Even though it's the holidays, some of our Year 11 pupils are taking additional intervention sessions ahead of their GCSEs starting in the summer term.

This extra support will help our pupils to get the best results in their exams & help them be more confident in their knowledge.
