Following a conversation with I did a bit of research on how to actually improve sleep quality, not just duration.

Results were as you’d expect… set a schedule & don’t drink caffeine late in the day etc. etc.

I guess like anything just get the basics right & you’ll get 90% of the benefits, who’d have thought it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Of course these points wont always be applicable but if we aim to hit them most of the time we should feel & perform noticeably better 💪

Nothing worse than struggling for energy early doors, if this happens to you, heres some things to consider before your next session ⚡️

1. Pre workout meal: Eat 1–2 hours before training for sustained energy, a relatively high carb meal ideally.

2. Stay hydrated: Keep hydration levels up and take some water or a intra-workout drink into your sessions.

3. Caffeine: Caffeine has been shown to increase endurance and provide an energy boost when used pre-workout

Consistency > perfection

Especially when you’re just starting out.

For beginners, the goal isn’t to train perfectly every day. It’s to show up regularly and build the habit. Small, consistent efforts over time will always beat short bursts of motivation.

Focus on being consistent, and the results will follow. 💪
