Layers of Lurgan is an innovative wellbeing programme that uses historic OSNI maps, local industrial heritage, and guided outdoor activity to support mental health, confidence, and social connection.
Participants explore three historical map editions (c.1830s–1900s) to understand how Lurgan evolved from estate landscape to industrial town. Through simple, inclusive activities, participants identify change, continuity, and personal meaning in place.
