At Insteps Dance Academy, we’re committed to continually developing our teachers and keeping our training and knowledge up to date. 💫

Our teachers have recently completed a range of important courses, including SEND Awareness in Dance, Emergency First Aid at Work, Safeguarding, and Allergy & Anaphylaxis Training in Schools.

We believe ongoing training is essential to ensure our students are taught in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment. 💗

🩰 A huge congratulations to our wonderful students who took part in today’s Classical Ballet Workshop in Telford! 🩰

Their dedication, commitment and hard work really showed today, and we couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them. ❤️

Watching our dancers develop their technique, confidence and artistry is so rewarding, and days like today are a wonderful opportunity for them to challenge themselves, learn new skills and take their dancing to the next level.

🩰✨ Pointe Shoe Fitting Day! ✨🩰

On Thursday, we were lucky enough to welcome Dance In Style to the studio for a professional pointe shoe fitting! 🩰

For some of our dancers, it was an extra-special day as they were being fitted for their very first pair of pointe shoes — such an exciting milestone in their ballet journey! 💕✨

Having pointe shoes professionally fitted is so important to ensure that each dancer has the correct fit and support for their individual feet. Going en pointe is a huge step, and it’s something our dancers work towards over many years, developing the strength, technique, control and confidence needed to do so safely.

We are incredibly proud of all of our dancers for the hard work, dedication and commitment they put into their ballet classes. Seeing them reach these exciting milestones makes all those hours of training and perseverance so worthwhile! 🩰❤️

Well done, you should all be so proud of yourselves! 🌟
