It's no secret that many Loughborough students love a boogie at the Union 💃 However, in recent years we've seen a shift - away from student security and towards the Union-wide use of Showsec. It's been a bumpy ride and it's time we reviewed why we use Showsec and not better recruit, train and support our own student staff.
Let's make LSU:
✅ A more desirable place to work again
✅ A Venue that provides thorough training
✅ A Union with afforable, and better stocked, shops

I've been a part of the Loughborough Family for 5 years, having spent this year as your Welfare & Diversity Executive Officer. Since becoming a Nightline volunteer in my first year, through to being part of the LSU Exec this year, listening to and championing students has been at the heart of everything I have done.
