A fun first session with this lovely one! Todays session was with a child who's autistic, non speaking, has a learning disability and reactive attachment disorder. I worked with with what she loves… all things sensory! Oobleck and bubbles! It was a ton of fun.

I will meet your child wherever they are at and always try to find a way to engage them. Even if I come away covered in cornflour 😂

Learning does not always have to look like learning.

One thing I've discovered over the years is that children learn best when they feel the pressure is off!

Being curious, playful and willing to follow their lead can break down so many barriers to learning. When children feel safe and relaxed, it gives them the confidence to give things a try.

I'm so excited to bring all I've learned into my tutoring, especially for those children that find traditional learning environments too overwhelming. Every child deserves to feel confident and capable.

Over the next few weeks I'll post some simple fun learning ideas you can do at home.

I'm Kerry!

I have two amazing children that did not thrive in school so I have been home educating them for several years.
Through this journey, combined with years of experience with SEN children, I've learned that one size does not fit all when it comes to learning.

I believe children learn best when they feel happy, confident and safe. Particularly when it doesn't feel like learning at all! This has inspired me to explore various fun and demand free approaches to learning that help children engage and build skills.

I offer one to one tutoring for online and locally, aimed at children with autism, PDA and other SEN needs. Focusing on growth, not pressure!
