☀️ Well after a great holiday it was back to work last week.

Back to beautiful British summer ☔️

I was supposed to be doing exteriors but I moved this job forward instead and completed it today.

Staircase is finished in Dulux Heritage eggshell “waxed khaki” with a couple of coats of flat extra durable varnish to give it an extra hard wearing finish.

Walls are Johnstones white durable Matt, farrow and ball “school house white” in johnstones durable Matt and dulux heritage “stone green”

Hallway skirts and ceilings are in durable Matt to match the walls.

Some of the other trim is in “waxed khaki” eggshell.

Covaplus white vinyl Matt on ceilings.
Heritage “nutmeg white” velvet Matt on the walls.
Johnstone’s aqua guardwhite gloss on woodwork.
Sadolin “Jacobean walnut” durable satin stain on spindles/bannisters.

Now I’m going on holiday ☀️

I “Finished” this job on Friday when the bed I put back together decided to attack the wall and send my blood pressure through the roof. 😅

A weekend off to calm down and I went back this morning and put it right.

You would never know 🤫

⭐️Panelling fitted and finished to match cupboards I previously painted in Chilwell, wall painted in perma white Matt to freshen up⭐️(yes I made a gap to allow the drawer to open 🤷‍♂️)

☀️ So this is what my bank holiday looked like yesterday and today.
I was in Aston-on-Trent fighting mould. This was a persistent problem for the client as the mould kept coming back after painting.
I came by sanded the hell out of it, caulked it and did a bit of filling.
Then I primed it with dulux trade unprimer & Owatrol damp additive and dulux trade quick dry opaque satin & Owatrol damp additive.
This kills mould and prevents it from returning.
The colour is dulux “setting stone”

And there we have it. He was really good today (at eating the customers biscuits) 😂

Take your kids to work week. Day 1: the big lad. He did well…
Tomorrow, the middle child.
Don’t think the baby will hack it though 😂
