The Make Believe Foundation exists to provide children with all varieties of learning difficulties with the same opportunity as children at our other performing arts schools. At Make Believe we see others' needs and we try to lift them up.

We’re proud to announce the launch of our not-for profit organisation- the Make Believe Foundation!
This will provide the appropriate support and facilities for those with disabilities such as Aspergers, Autism and Down Syndrome whilst teaching them all about the performing arts. Your donations from Halloween Non Uniform Day and Christmas Jumper Day will help us make the Foundation a success, so thank you for your contributions!

We aim to uncover every child’s potential and inspire everyone to dream it, do it and believe it, no matter their circumstances.

Established by Joel Kern in 2004 as an extra-curricular school teaching children to learn, perform, achieve and most importantly enjoy themselves in a safe and secure environment. Make Believe has enabled thousands of young people to fulfil their dreams and ambitions in theatre through a range of facilities and activities. Make Believe now has a network of schools, talent agency (MB Talent), production company and events division.

The Make Believe Foundation was set up to provide the same opportunity to children who may not have the chance to participate in our schools or other similar facilities due to learning disabilities such as Autism, Aspergers and Down’s Syndrome.

Right from the very beginning Make Believe has been active in raising funds and awareness for various children’s organisations to whom share our ethos in helping young people realise and develop their potential.

Our team of trained professional will work with our students on a week to week basis, enabling them to build on their confidence, stretch their imagination and learn the necessary skills that they will be able to take forward with them throughout their lives.

By launching the Make Believe Foundation, which will be a not-for-profit (NFP) organisation, we will be able to provide the appropriate facilities and support in our performing arts classes set up especially for those living with learning disabilities. It is our aim to draw upon every child’s potential and inspire them to dream it, do it and believe it, no matter their personal circumstances.

Our dream is to enable every young person throughout the world regardless of their individual circumstance to have the belief that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!

There is a star in every child that is just waiting to be discovered!
