What happens when our memories are turned into commodities?
In this episode, our founder Angelina Giovani sits down with WeAre.xyz founder Simon Davis. Together, they explore how mainstream platforms reshape our relationship with the past, often prioritising instant gratification over true depth and meaning.
This shift directly threatens how we anchor ourselves to history, transforming the way we preserve family heritage, trace our genealogy, and pass down lasting legacies.
Source is here to question these existing systems and build a better alternative. Weβre creating a brand-new way to connect knowledge, memory, and discovery.

π Many archival and research materials remain difficult to discover, often because they are not yet digitised or searchable online.
BeMySource has been developed to address this gap. The platform enables institutions and individuals to:
π Upload and share materials that are not currently visible online
π‘Submit specific requests for sources, documents, or collections
π Connect directly with others working across archives, libraries, and heritage collections
Our aim is to improve the discoverability of material that would otherwise remain hidden.
The refreshed platform is now live at bemysource.com. Early contributions will play an important role in shaping how the network grows.
At the core of there is a counter-cultural mission to the true and tested methods of research and source verification. By a real human, in person.
How do YOU access all the hard copy material and resources you cannot physically access?
