We always enjoy hearing about the amazing things our students go on to do after CWC!

Former Performing Arts student Kaiaa Shepnekhi-Boston recently shared her journey into theatre and social change, from developing her own creative work to exploring how different people and spaces influence the ways we present ourselves.

As part of her final university project, Kaiaa wrote, produced and performed her own one-woman show, *Flourishing Distortion*, while continuing to pursue her passion for storytelling and community.

An inspiring afternoon for our students 🧡

Our students had the opportunity to hear from sports broadcaster Clare Tomlinson during a special guest talk at our Paddington campus🎙️

Organised by the Careers and Work Experience team, the session gave Sports and Media students the chance to hear about Clare’s career journey, working in live broadcasting, interviewing some of football’s biggest names, and breaking barriers as one of the first female touchline reporters in UK television.

Students also picked up valuable advice on building confidence, standing out in competitive industries and exploring careers within the sports and media world 👏

Thank you to Clare for taking the time to inspire and speak with our learners!

Our Level 3 Public Services students recently took on a kayaking session at Canalside in Ladbroke Grove as part of their Water-Based Activities unit 🚣

The trip gave students the chance to put key skills into practice outside of the classroom, including teamwork, leadership, communication and resilience throughout the session.

Experiences like these are a great way for learners to build confidence, challenge themselves and develop the practical skills needed for careers in the industry!
