The special role of Georgian traditional music for the UK Georgian diaspora was one of the central topics of Teona Lomsadze’s presentation at an international conference in Armenia 🎶🇬🇪
Teona, serving as the Liaison officer for Georgia to the International Council for Traditions of Music and Dance - ICTMD, was invited to take part in its Music and Minorities study group conference.
The event was hosted by the Komitas Yerevan State Conservatory from September 8-12 🎤🇦🇲

Our very own Sandro Shar recently gave a Georgian polyphony workshop at Pitchfolk 2026, bringing krimanchuli (a form of Georgian yodelling) into a wider meeting of yodelling traditions from around the world🎶🇬🇪🌍

Pitchfolk, organised by pitchblend, is an annual weekend of singing featuring workshops of harmony singing traditions from around the world.
