Having started on this education consultancy journey last year, I have to admit - as I'm sure anyone starting a business knows - it has been somewhat challenging.

In my previous roles in schools, a good deal of what you do is responsive, almost pavlovian; I’d hear the school bell, and I’d be there ready, prepared for my next class or my next meeting.

Now, I have to be pro-active, and without a school timetable to dictate my day, managing my work, research and hashtag , all under the watchful eye of my dog, Rollo!

But is this new way of life counting for something?

Over the last two weeks, I’ve designed and delivered some really enjoyable and effective hashtag sessions with school hashtag and hashtag , getting fistfuls of 10 / 10’s for the effectiveness of the sessions on their hashtag and receiving comments like “Everything was really useful”, “Thank you for such an engaging session”, “Wish we had more time!”.

Is this new way of life counting for something?

Yes!
