From a few simple shapes to a little character of their own 🐄🤍

This Tuesday in our Sugarcraft & Icing class, Sarina guided our young maker step by step through shaping, building and adding all those tiny details using modelling icing.

The children learn the techniques by working alongside Sarina, while still having plenty of room to add their own ideas and personality to what they create. ✨
And of course, the best part is seeing everything come together at the end!

Some lovely work from our recent Summer Art Camp sessions at The Art Loft in Putney 🎨✨

We love seeing children experiment with different materials, develop their own ideas and leave the studio feeling proud of what they’ve created.

Our new Anime & Manga Drawing course is launching this Autumn at The Art Loft in Putney.

Designed for young artists aged 8+, this full-term course explores:

✨ character design
✨ facial expressions & emotion
✨ poses, stance & movement
✨ clothing & accessories
✨ backgrounds & perspective
✨ composition & visual storytelling
✨ developing original characters and personal style

Students will build strong drawing foundations while learning how to create more complete anime and manga-inspired illustrations.

Our Sugarcraft & Icing workshops are coming this Autumn!

A fun, hands-on weekly drop-in for children aged 6+, where they’ll learn to shape, model and decorate using icing and simple sugarcraft techniques.

Each week will feature a different creative project — from animals and unicorns to colourful characters, seasonal designs and imaginative creations.

🧁 Sundays 10:00–12:00
🎨 Ages 6+
✨ Weekly drop-in
💷 £35 per session

All materials are included, and children take their finished creation home at the end of the workshop.
