Mathscon

Mathscon Largest student-led Mathematics conference in the UK. Mathematics is beautiful. Yet, we believe it is widely misunderstood. We want everyone to know about this.

Mathematics is about concepts, not calculations. It is about shaping thought, not following rules. And more importantly, it is the language in which humans can communicate with Mother Nature. So we created Mathscon. Our mission is to reshape the world's perception of Mathematics. We aim to do so by organising many Mathscon events around the world. We want to build partnerships with educational institutions, create relations with pioneer corporations and receive support from great names in Mathematics. We will start in London in February 2017. Mathscon is more than a conference. Throughout the event, we want to expose the public to di erent activities to make them realise how amazing Mathematics is. Fabulous speakers will be invited to give inspirational speeches or lectures. Intellectual workshops will be organised in order to illustrate applications of the mother of all sciences. A classy social event will close the conference during which one will have the chance to discuss with the organisers, speakers and other guests.
