Last week at Rise Learning and Wellbeing we introduced co-operative board games to one of the free flow tables!!! The children loved it and decided to try it out together (with a few of their own rules) - Socialisation(turn taking, conversation, etc), Numeracy(patterns, numerical value, counting), Literacy (language and communication, etc) and I'm sure sooooo much more learning taking place simply by having the opportunity and space to do so!
We made 'Slime' ...well it started off that way at least as many of our children quickly realised addintion and subtraction in science can really change outcomes!

A few spaces remain for this Friday for children who may find large groups and busy spaces overwhelming, for those parents who want to meet other parents but don't have the time, for a community on this home ed journey together.
