St Benedict the Moor Class (Y2) have been learning about wolves in our English lessons and in today’s lesson, we wrote a letter to G.Rabbit to help him understand what is fact and fictional about wolves. We wrote his address on our envelopes and got them ready to send. We hope G. Rabbit replies soon!

St. Joseph Class (Year 5) continued their art project by creating mixed media portraits, using portrait-style photographs they had taken themselves.

In St Benedict the Moor Class (Y2), we were creating our own textured papers using paint and different objects to help us create a collage of the Jurassic Coast in our next lesson.

Year three are currently investigating how space affects plant growth. Today the children were excited to record results so far!

Children from all year groups enjoyed a Sublime Science workshop today! Here are some highlights from Year 3!

St Benedict the Moor Class (y2) were exploring the coastal town of Weymouth in their Geography lesson yesterday. We used photographs and tourist maps to help us identify human and physical features.

What a treat! The whole school celebrated national space day and learnt all about space in the planetarium dome!

Y1 had a great PE session yesterday, practicing their racket and ball skills with tennis. The children used under arm technique to pass the ball over the net. Such great tennis players! Well done 🎾

In St Benedict the Moor's (Y2) art lesson, we were exploring creating different textures using different objects to paint with. We used pom poms, tinfoil, string, lego, cotton buds and paint brushes. We also mixed paints to create different shades.

St. Joseph Class (Year 5) have been creating mixed media ‘poem portraits’ as part of our art topic🎨🖼️

Year 1 completed a great challenge by using Purple Mash during their computing lesson this afternoon! Great skills everyone 👍🏽
