Thank you Holmewood House for such a spectacular display that seemed to go on for ages!!

That and the amazing stalls that were there selling lots of yummy things to keep us all fed, hydrated and warm 🙏🏼🙏🏼💯💯

Sharing these special moments with my family is what it’s all about for me.

Is what you doing right now, at this exact moment, what you want to be doing for the next 20 years??

This is the question I asked myself a year ago 😱

And when I plucked up the courage to answer it honestly, the answer was a massive NO!!

Don’t get me wrong, I love being a doctor and I totally loved helping people and literally saving lives, but I didn’t love my life working as a doctor...

I didn’t love the lack of time I had
I didn’t love the long hours & burnout
I didn’t love working in the failing system
I didn’t love not being able to give my patients the care I knew they deserved
I didn’t love missing my kids grow up
I didn’t love who I had become...

Who I had become was just a shell of who I really am. Years of unfulfilled dreams and disappointments had taken their toll.

And so I couldn’t see myself carrying on like this for another 20 years...

I then knew that if I wanted something different, then I would have to do something differently. Probably something VERY different from what I was used to doing...

And I was right!! And it was tough...

The biggest battle was the one that was raging inside of me as I reconnected with me, and grew into better and better versions of myself. But WOW was it so worth it!

My life now is totally transformed in every way❤️

I’m so grateful every day for my mentor Bob Proctor!!

He literally saved the life of this beautiful boy - my son Cooper ❤️❤️

10 years ago in 2009, after having watched The Secret, I fell in love with who Bob and his incedible material. He was like the grandfather I never had. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

His work lead me to a book called Think and Grow Rich which I read over and over from 2009 till 2011.

On the 10 Jan 2011 our beautiful son Cooper was born.

On the 28th of Jan we found out he was dying!!..

He had contracted a terrible virus that had attacked his heart muscle and had killed a significant part of it. Cooper had heart failure and at that stage, multi organ failure.

We were given 2 options by the doctors - death or a heart transplant. And babies 18’days old don’t get heart transplants.

We all sobbed and screamed for about 2 hours and then I had the most amazing moment of INSPIRATION - when one is “IN SPIRIT”!!!!

Bobs work and that of Napoleon Hill’s flooded into my mind and I knew exactly what to do!!

To deny logic! To deny what we had been told!!

To THINK of what WE WANTED!!

And that was for Cooper to live...

And thrive...

Cooper barely made it through that first night...

So we combined our thoughts, energy and love and spent hours visualising his heart healing and starting to pump stronger and stronger!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

And that’s exactly what it did! And even though he was less than a month old, we could all see and feel his determination as he stared up at us from his incubator!! ❤️ He had the most incredible stare and we all knew and felt that he was telling us, “I’m here my family!! Keep the faith!! I’m fighting and I’ll never give up!!”

And he didn’t - my little Legend!!!

And as I write this guess which song has just come up on Spotify??? The Journey by X Ray Dog - the song from THE SECRET!!!

Wow wow wow!!! This universe and life is so special and amazing 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Anyway, I just wanted to share this story with you because FB sent me this photo today - and clearly it’s for a reason...

Ps - 5 years after this terrible experience, Cooper’s heart had totally healed and is functioning normally. ❤️❤️ @ London, United Kingdom
