September has started a little slower than I expected⦠and you know what? Thatās okay. š¤
Sometimes we put so much pressure on ourselves to hit the ground running when a new term begins.
New learners. New projects. New goals. New plans.
But a slow start doesnāt mean youāre not making progress.
For some young people, September might be about finding their confidence again, getting back into a routine, discovering a new creative interest or simply taking that first step towards completing their Arts Award.
And those small steps matter.
⨠Picking up a pencil.
⨠Trying a new technique.
⨠Sharing an idea.
⨠Completing one piece of work.
⨠Beginning a portfolio.
⨠Having a conversation about what inspires you.
Arts Award isnāt just about producing artwork. Itās about developing skills, exploring creativity, building confidence and having something meaningful to show for your journey.
So if September has started slowly for you or your young personā¦
Donāt rush it.
Slow progress is still progress. š±
Hereās to taking the next small step. šØ
