Celebrating Avenue Park Community Event

Join us as we celebrate Your Avenue Park with free and fun activities for all!

Delighted to share that we will be joined by the following:

for Tai Chi

for bike repairs and hand sewn repairs

will be doing some fun mosaic crafts

free nature inspired face painting

have a chat with Patrick from Twickenham beekeepers about Bees and Hornets

a drumming workshop with Edison















The local fire brigade team will be talking about fire safety and police will be bike marking at the event.

Celebrating Avenue Park Community Event

Join us as we celebrate Your Avenue Park with free and fun activities for all!

Some of you have asked about transport/parking information, above is a photo of the park entrance and here are the details:

Options: Bring your bike – Heston Repair Café will be doing bike repairs

If you are driving, please note parking is very limited, you can book in advance using www.justpark.com/

Public transport - Bus 105 and 111 stop (stops CL and CK) at the Parkway on the High Street, near the High Street Park entrance.

The Avenue bus stops (Stops CS and CD) on Bath Road which the 81, 222 and H98 stop at, then it is a walk up the Avenue to the High Street entrance of the park.

Our Ham Lands volunteers have spent the last few sessions clearing large patches of invasive Himalayan balsam. The group were able to clear a vast amount in just 2 sessions- check out the before and after from just 1 session.

Working in partnership with the Friends of Ham Lands, we're out in Ham Lands Mondays, 1-3pm for practical conservation sessions. Why not come along and help Ham Lands. No experience is needed.
