We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year but it's that time of year when Year 5 parents start planning 11+ preparation.

Let us help your child to succeed in gaining places in their first and second choice schools with our weekly 11+ small group tuition each Saturday at Belleville School, Battersea from 10am-1pm.

Don't forget! Our Year 5 Saturday School starts this coming Saturday at Belleville Primary School! The details are as follows:

Dates: Saturday 8 January to Saturday 26 March 2022 (each Saturday except for 19 February)
Times: 10 am to 1 pm
Cost: £1210 (11 sessions in total)

Each Saturday class consists of 1.5 hours of Maths with a non-verbal reasoning component and 1.5 hours of English, with a verbal reasoning component. Held in a bright, interactive classroom, these classes help prepare children for 11+ and grammar school/independent school entrance exams. Homework is set each week and practice papers to test exam techniques are utilised to ensure these skills are honed in time for the real exams.

Our Year 5 Saturday School is now two weeks in and the students are loving it! It's not too late to sign up: children can join at any point during the term and we still have spaces available. Any budding writers out there? We are running a one-off Creative Writing Workshop this Sunday, 20 December from 10 am to 1 pm online, with our wonderful, very own author and tutor, Maria. This fun and interactive workshop will teach your child how to plan stories effectively and stand out from the crowd with language. They will learn how to create original characters, bring their writing to life and practise thinking outside of the box when faced with a title for a writing piece. Our online Saturday School is back! Aimed at preparing Year 6 students for the 11+ exams, our stimulating and interactive classes will give them all they need to excel in Maths/NVR and English/VR. Classes are every Saturday between now and 12 December, from 10 am to 1 pm (including the Saturdays in half-term).
