🍂✨ Revamping Our Garden for Autumn ✨🍂
Last week our wonderful practitioners at our Angel nursery gave our outdoor space an autumn makeover! Crunchy leaves, pinecones, pumpkins, sticks and seasonal plants for the children to explore. 🌿🍁🎃
These natural autumnal resources support so much learning:
🌱 Sensory exploration: feeling different textures, hearing leaves crunch, smelling herbs and soil.
🔍 Curiosity & investigation: spotting changes in nature and talking about seasonal life cycles.
🧩 Creative play: using sticks, leaves and conkers in building, counting, and imaginative play.
💛 Wellbeing: spending time in a calming, nature-rich space that invites discovery and calm focus.
