✨ Just a few highlights from our busy and joy-filled final weeks of summer term at St Boniface ✨

🎭 Year 6 wowed us all with a slick, character-filled production of Annie Jr. — what a performance!

⚽ Our children were so grateful for the delicious World Cup & Wimbledon menus — and especially thrilled with the surprise footballs on the playground!

🚲 Huge congratulations to our Year 3 & 4 pupils who took part in Wandsworth training and mastered the lifelong skill of cycling!

🌍 Our dedicated eco prefects took to the streets of Tooting for a litter pick — showing real care for our local community, thank you 💚

💰 Thank you to our wonderful parents who came in to speak about financial literacy — from savings and interest rates to debit and credit cards. Real-life learning in action!

🏛️ Our school councillors enjoyed an inspiring visit to the — a fantastic experience for our young leaders.

✨🌌 Mānawatia a Matariki 🌌✨

Today, in the winter skies of Aotearoa New Zealand 🇳🇿, the first appearance of the Pleiades star cluster marks the Māori New Year ⭐

Matariki is a special time to honour ancestors 💫, reflect on the past year, give thanks for the harvest 🌾, and look ahead to new beginnings with whānau and community ❤️

At St Boniface, learning about faith in other cultures helps us to deepen our understanding of our own Catholic faith ✝️. Year 4 have been exploring a range of beliefs including Judaism ✡️, Islam ☪️, Hinduism 🕉️, Christianity ✝️, Greek Orthodoxy, and Pagan traditions 🌿

In Aotearoa New Zealand, traditional Māori belief teaches us that all living things, the natural world, and our ancestors are connected through whakapapa 🌏🌱 — a beautiful reminder to care for one another and our environment.

This week, we’re excited to be taking part in Financial Literacy Week! 🦖🦖

Using Milo’s Money and exploring the 5 Big Questions, our pupils will be building essential money skills through fun and engaging activities. From understanding where money comes from to learning about earning, spending, saving, and making thoughtful choices, children will begin to see the real value of money. 🦖🦖

Our talented Year 4 pupils went to the Wandsworth Schools WCET Festival this afternoon at All Saints Church, Brudenell Road. After a year of dedication learning their brass instruments, they are ready to perform with confidence and joy. We are so proud of their hard work and can’t wait to see them shine. Yesterday, Class N enjoyed a wonderful visit to the National Gallery 🎨
They took part in an inspiring workshop where they learned new drawing techniques ✏️ and used these skills to explore famous paintings up close.

In the afternoon, pupils had great fun taking part in a gallery treasure hunt 🔍

A fantastic day of creativity and discovery!

Class C had a wonderful visit to the Garden Museum this week 🌱

Pupils explored seeds up close using microscopes 🔬, learned about different types from around the world 🌍, and even carried out a seed dissection.

Each child planted their own microgreens to take home 🌿☕

A big thank you to the for making this experience possible and Mrs Qureshi for showing us what it means to be a botanist. 💛

A cherished tradition at St Boniface Primary ✨ sees our Year 3 children celebrate receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion ⛪ with a special visit to Wintershall 🌿.
Surrounded by the beauty of the great outdoors 🌳, they experience the powerful Life of Christ play 🎭, bringing the Gospel to life in a truly memorable way.
A meaningful day of faith, reflection, and joy for all involved 💛.
