What do you do when the organ is under construction?
Call ! We may not have quite the same range, but it was the perfect opportunity to teach 6 schools (190+ students) and an open adults session about the inner workings of the pipe organ and the science of sound.
Thanks so much to for hosting us and we can’t wait for the next visit!
It’s a busy time coming up for us, so get in touch if you’re interested.
Next stop is up in Easingwold, North Yorkshire at St John the Baptist & All Saints Parish Church on 4th/5th March. If you’re around, come along!

Absolutely loved delivering this lecture
Primarily focusing on the science of sound, we also spoke about everything from how aeroplanes fly to non-return valves and Einstein’s violin playing!
We had a great mixture of people from all walks of life who not only asked great questions but also produced some excellent music (swipe to see their performance)
I’m very grateful for their many years of supporting and I’m looking forward to more collaborations in the future!

We love travelling around the country - from quaint churches and classrooms to amazing concert halls and cathedrals. We’ve been busy already this year but do look out for upcoming events!
Let us know where you think we should go next !

This sounds like a very successful day !
Feeling inspired by such a positive post - I hope there are many more opportunities for people to meet the Christchurch Priory organ.
A great use of International Organ Day!

Inspired by International Organ Day?
Why not come along to one of our workshops or book us in to share on music, science, organs and everything in between?

Do you recognise this cathedral?
A huge blessing of this job is that we get to go to some stunning locations to deliver workshops. Would highly recommend a visit to this one!

Just 2 sleeps until !!
We’re passionate about science, music and cross curricular learning for all ages, but at the heart of our project is the king of instruments, the pipe organ.
An immense instrument, we want to make it accessible to all and what better time to start learning than international organ day, this Saturday?
