1. They’re putting the work in but the grades aren’t moving
This is one of the most frustrating things to watch as a parent. The effort is there, but without the right strategy, effort alone won’t move the needle.
2. They understand it in class but freeze in the exam
I see this all the time. They know the content, but the exam environment is a completely different skill. That’s why past paper practice is non negotiable.
3. Their confidence in Maths is gone
This one breaks my heart every time. Because nine times out of ten, it’s not that they can’t do it. They just haven’t been shown how to yet.
