Keystone workshops and talks are aimed at parents, grandparents and carers who wish to support the well-being and learning of their child in the home. We believe that the more informed parents are, the better they can impact positively on their child's life and learning. Research carried out by Professor Charles Des Forges from Exeter University suggests that schools, at best, can raise children’s attainment by 5%. However, parents, by constructively engaging with their child and their learning, can make a massive 30% difference. Our workshops and talks on education help parents understand what and how children are being taught in school today and our health and psychology events help them to understand how best to navigate children through life's challenges. Keystone creates alignment between work done by teachers in school and home life, between academic research and practical parenting. We are passionate about helping parents understand the enormous role that they have in shaping their children’s futures. We are committed to sharing knowledge from the world of education, health and psychology with parents and carers, ensuring that they can apply it in a simple, easy and practical way at home.
