✍️ 1 Kasım 1928 – Harf Devrimi

Bugün, Türk dili ve eğitimi açısından bir dönüm noktası olan Harf Devrimi’nin yıldönümü.
1 Kasım 1928 tarihinde Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi’nde (TBMM) “Türk Harflerinin Kabul ve Tatbiki Hakkında Kanun” kabul edilmiştir.
Bu olay, Türkiye tarihinde Harf Devrimi olarak bilinen önemli bir reformun başlangıcıdır.
Bu kanunla birlikte, o zamana kadar kullanılan Arap harfleri esaslı Osmanlı alfabesi terk edilerek, Latin harfleri esaslı yeni Türk alfabesine geçilmiştir.

✍️ November 1, 1928 – The Alphabet Reform

Today marks the anniversary of the Alphabet Reform, a milestone in the history of the Turkish language and education.
On November 1, 1928, the Law on the Adoption and Implementation of the Turkish Alphabet was passed by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).
This event marked the beginning of one of the most significant reforms in modern Turkish history.
With this law, the Arabic-based Ottoman script was replaced by a new Latin-based Turkish alphabet, paving the way for literacy and modernization.
