I saw these posters while walking around the LSE campus last week — and I had to stop.

A student desperately trying to get responses for their dissertation survey. Multiple posters. QR codes. “PLEASE” written in five languages. It made me smile… and also wince a little.

Because the truth is — this is what it looks like when your dissertation planning goes sideways.

🧠 When you choose a method that relies on other people, you have to factor in response time, access, and even the possibility of getting ignored.
