Description:
A lovely family from Bahrain is seeking a qualified and experienced Nurse to accompany their 11-year-old daughter on a summer trip to Marbella (11th–19th August) and London (19th August–6th September). The child is diabetic and requires careful monitoring throughout the trip.

Responsibilities:

Carry and manage insulin supplies at all times

Monitor blood sugar levels regularly

Administer insulin injections if and when required

Be prepared to manage hypoglycemic episodes, including administering juice or taking other immediate corrective actions

Remain on call 24/7 during the travel period

Accompany the child throughout daily activities

Ensure the child’s health and safety at all times

Additional Information:

Pre-travel blood tests will be required and arranged by the family

The nurse must be active, calm under pressure, patient, and highly experienced in diabetes care

This is a travel-based temporary role with full responsibility for medical supervision but no additional childcare duties

A lovely British-Greek family based in Athens is looking for a warm, highly qualified nanny to care for their 3-year-old daughter.

They are particularly interested in candidates with a Montessori background (AMI Diploma) and/or Norland training.

The family spends their summers at their holiday home in Corfu, and the nanny will be expected to travel with them.

In Athens, the position is live-out, and an accommodation allowance will be provided to support the nanny in renting her own property. While on holiday, the role will be live-in.

They are looking for a native English or Spanish speaker with an EU passport or the legal right to work in Greece.

The family has a guard dog and a cat, and a cleaner who visits regularly. While the cleaner manages deep cleaning, the nanny will be expected to help with light cooking and keeping things tidy during school hours (9am–3pm).

Schedule:

5 full working days per week, with 2 consecutive days off
Start at 8:00am, finishing around 8:00pm
Downtime during school hours is provided
