🇪🇸 ¡Ya se siente la primavera! Como cada año, una gran mayoría está deseando que llegue Marzo porque es el primer mes de la primavera. Por fin vemos de nuevo florecer las plantas y las hojas empiezan a crecer en los árboles, después de un largo invierno. Los relojes avanzan una hora, lo que nos da días más largos y cálidos, socializamos más, salimos más, nuestras ventanas están abiertas y nos sentimos más vivas.
¡Todo en la primavera es maravilloso! ☀️✨
Ah bueno… ¡la temporada de las alergias empiezan!🤧
🇬🇧 Spring is in the air! Every year many of us look forward to March as it’s the first month of Spring. We see colourful flowers blooming; leaves start to grow in hedges and trees and we come alive after a long-wilted winter. Clocks go forward, meaning we have longer, warmer lighter days ahead, we meet more often with our friends and family, spend more time outdoors, open our windows for fresh air and feel alive again.
What is not to like about the Spring?? ☀️✨
Oh yes… allergy season starts! 🤧

🇪🇸 ¡No hay nada mejor que una cerveza fría con unas buenas aceitunas! La parte positiva de la globalización es que viviendo en Londres es muy fácil conseguir marcas españolas que, en momentos de nostalgia, ayudan mucho a sobrellevar mejor los momentos que echas de menos tu cultura.
🇬🇧 Nothing better than a cold beer with some good olives! The positive side of globalisation is that living in London is pretty easy to find Spanish brands. So, when feeling homesick I can feel like home.

De la conocida frase que siempre hemos oído “quien no llora no mama”.
Alguna vez he intentado traducir literalmente la expresión en inglés y suena bien raro - “who doesn’t cry doesn’t suck the boobie” 😂
Seguro que hay otras maneras de decir lo mismo, pero me encanta hacer estas traducciones siendo fiel a cada palabra.

¿Tú de quién eres, de las que llora o la que pide lo que necesita?

My safe place in the house. That place I feel I can relax , be reflective, having my “me time” while listening to music. And I have the radiator by the side to give me comfort. What else can I ask for?
