FLOW is a way of being.
It’s something you can access at any time.
But there is a catch.
You gotta give yourself the best chance.
Overwhelm and stress are almost constant atm. Mind reeling, inner critic ruminating.
That’s how I felt after a screaming child nursery drop off this morning. 🫣
It’s easy to believe that it is normal to feel like that all the time.
It is not (your) normal.
It’s an (mal)adaptation.
Flow is what your body-soul wants to do.
It is a natural state.
When you feel
- safe
- purposeful
- creative
- free
And that feeling is closer than you think - at any given time.
You can give yourself that feeling through little actions (just a few minutes)
- like stretching/dancing
- breath work
- kind self-talk
I so nearly didn’t give myself the best chance.
Just a few minutes of any one of these will shift your state — I promise you.
You deserve to flow!

Parenting in late stage capitalism is A LOT.
We were never meant to parent in isolated nuclear families behind closed doors.
Parenting is a community effort.
- shared values and other adults helping parent
- food trains so we take turns doing the evening meals
- play dates without 3 weeks planning ahead
I long for the level of community that doesn’t require paying for it just to have basic support.
My heart aches for more in-person parental friendships that are honest, present, and loving.
If you’re juggling a business, childcare, finances, overwhelm, and the rest — I SEE YOU!
It’s a lot.
And we will come through it. 🧡

RISING TIDE is going IRL! 🌊
For weeks, I felt the tension — I love delivering this work body-to-body, yet I kept trying to make it fit online.
Then my body reminded me what alignment feels like.
So I’m listening.
And shifting.
Rising Tide is becoming a 3-day in-person immersive gathering in London, Feb/Mar 2026.
For 30 changemakers, movement shapers, and mission-driven humans who are ready to speak and influence with integrity — together.
Because gathering IRL isn’t just a vibe…
It’s The Shift.
It’s how we dismantle isolation, re-humanise our movements, and remember that culture changes when we do — side by side, in real time.
If you’re feeling the pull, comment 🌊 or DM me the word RISING.
Let’s rise — together.

Join The SHIFT.
Come to The Shift Salons >> energising, practical, and heart-rooted spaces to practise the kind of speaking that fuels movements, deepens community connection, and helps liberatory futures take root.
Where speaking flow meets community action.
This isn’t just a workshop. It’s part of a movement.
🧡 Donation based, pay-what-you-can
🧡 50% of all funds go to charities on the ground.
These facilitated sessions are my contribution to the collective effort of redistributing speaking power — out of the grip of extractive systems and harmful individuals, and into the hands and mouths of people shaping a more ethical, liberated, and sustainable future.
I want these tools in the hands of as many people who give a s**t as possible.
That means:
🗨️ Activists preparing for their next march
🗨️ Campaigners drafting bold new messages
🗨️ Changemakers stepping into rooms where their values get tested
🗨️ Friends navigating political differences at the dinner table
🗨️ Anyone trying to speak from their gut without shutting down
These aren’t traditional comms trainings.
They’re community-powered practice spaces.
We are the voices we’ve been waiting for.

The line in the sand
We’re at the tipping point.
The waiting is over.
Moral ambiguity is a thing of the past.
We know what we stand for.
We’re ready for a moral clarity
That acts like a compass.
The beat of a drum getting louder and louder.
As we each take a stand for a world that is kinder.
This isn’t a nice-to-have
It’s a need in the collective.
This isn’t even activism
It a reshaping of our humanity.
We’re embarking on the biggest inside job
We’re ever going do.
As we remember how to care
For the many not the few.

This is how I coped with the grief.
I remember the first time I saw d3ad bod13s on the front page of newspapers.
For me, it was at the beginning of the Iraq war in 2003.
I walked into a shop and there on the shelves were d3@d and bloody bodies.
In plain sight.
The experience was so shocking to my nervous system, I completely stopped breathing. I felt like I had been punched in the stomach, and my heart experienced a snap like breaking.
The experience was so overwhelming, that I stopped listening to the news or looking at newspapers for over a year.
I disengaged.
I looked away.
I distracted myself.
But the experience never left me.
Now the d3ad b0d13s are in the middle of my feed on Instagram. Between my friends and my inspiration.
Now it is even worse.
The babies. The children.
I still stop breathing, I still feel punched in the gut, and I still feel my heart break.
But this time I am better equipped.
This time I can hold the shock and grief.
This time I can re-ground myself.
This time, I can stay present with the feelings.
This time I talk about it with others.
This time I find my voice and use it.
We simply must keep talking about it.
Anything else is a handing over of our humanity, and a blurring of our moral clarity.
Do not let this g3n0c1dee take your voice.
Let it help you find it.

Every conversation you have has the potential to awaken a different understanding, nurture hope, inspire community action.
The path through a harmful system collapsing is community collaboration, mutual aid and support, and kindness as currency.
Keep meeting.
Keep talking.
Keep sharing.
Keep supporting.
It’s working!
